hey y'all welcome to a Dean family
0:02
Christmas special it's one of the best
0:04
things I remember about my wife's
0:05
grandmother a good oldfashioned cookie
0:07
swap plus uh tree lighting to remember
0:11
and no good Christmas special can start
0:13
without a highlight reel so here's
0:15
what's coming up and this is a no good
0:16
Christmas
0:18
special oh just run the Reel run the
0:26
Reel when it comes to Marino cherries
0:30
just a
0:33
goner Gus is ice skating M Merry
0:39
Christmas are you going ice skating
0:41
bubbles I just want to make sure 911 is
0:44
close by I don't like
0:46
[Music]
0:53
it Jamie what do you think some uh how
0:56
about some Christmas cookies and a
0:58
little bit of holiday cider sounds good
1:00
what you going to do with your cider uh
1:02
well I'm going to put bourbon in and
1:03
then I'm going to drink it brother but
1:04
before I do that I'm going to make it so
1:06
it's a very very simple mold cider today
1:09
and I'm going to start with 1 and2
1:11
gallons of fresh pressed apple cider
1:13
we're going to take two Naval oranges
1:15
and stud them with cloves and you only
1:17
need about 24 cloves per um per orange
1:21
but I decided to get creative and make a
1:23
little Jackal Lantern out of it so um
1:26
that three sticks of cinnamon and really
1:28
that's it we're going to boil it out out
1:30
no really that's not it because I'm
1:31
going to put some bouran in it a little
1:32
bit later on for the
1:34
adults well do you want to stop making
1:36
it yeah pour it we'll pour it in 1 and2
1:39
gallons of fresh pressed apple
1:41
cider Jimmy how about giveing me some
1:43
heat over there brother see where you at
1:46
in the center I like your shirt no I'm
1:48
not in the center there's a wooden block
1:49
on the center so I like your shirt not
1:51
that much heat y'all in spite of
1:54
appearances Bobby and I did not call
1:56
each other today and say what are you
1:57
wearing to the holiday special this is
2:00
not the first time that we've shown up
2:01
wearing the same clothes we came here
2:03
one day wearing the same branded pants
2:05
and the same brand shirt we looked
2:06
exactly alike Gordon you got that
2:09
footage we were playing guitars we were
2:10
the good old Dean Brothers Band all
2:12
right twn we were TW Bobby doesn't enjoy
2:15
it as much as I do but my boys are
2:16
coming around here later and they're
2:18
wearing the same shirts so Bobby said oh
2:20
I brought it extra I said no let's let
2:22
all the dean boys wear the same shirts
2:24
today so I put on my red gingham and of
2:26
course Bobby put his on Blue Jeans
2:29
tennis shoes tuck it in tight you
2:31
realize I put you to shame
2:33
right that go that goes right in three
2:37
sticks of cinnamon so we put it on
2:39
medium heat and just let it roll you
2:42
going to boil let all that get married
2:44
together yeah of course okay and my
2:47
wife's grandmother mimom when she was
2:49
living when Brooke and I got married she
2:51
was famous for making 25 different kinds
2:53
of cookies and she would put them in
2:55
shoe boxes and every year that was the
2:57
family's favorite gift that they would
2:58
get from M M Scott my youngest
3:00
brother-in-law who loves to cook is
3:01
taken over that tradition so starting
3:03
around the 1st of December his kitchen
3:05
is full of cookie stuff and we never did
3:07
a lot of cookie swaps when we were kids
3:09
no we didn't cuz Mom made Divinity and
3:11
she made Buckey and just kind of
3:12
traditional Southern stuff we didn't
3:13
have anybody to swap them with we would
3:15
go to uh we would spend Christmas it' be
3:18
just you and me standing there handing
3:19
each other and I was you know the little
3:21
fat one I would never hand cookies away
3:23
any cookie that came my way there was no
3:24
swapping it was a cookie eating is what
3:26
we had ironic that you just looked into
3:27
the camera and said I was the little fat
3:29
way
3:30
were you I was once upon a time my mom
3:33
has always made Sandy so that's what
3:35
we're going to do today is a a simple
3:37
holiday Sandy it starts with two sticks
3:39
of butter no it does is this Mama's
3:42
recipe and we've got just a half a cup
3:45
Bobby of confectioner sugar and I'm
3:46
going to cream this
3:52
out how easy is that okay and to this
3:55
Bobby we're going to add one and 1/2
3:57
cups of flour that's one sandies I
4:02
Remember Mama making this one pean
4:03
sandies yeah so this will be a little
4:05
bit dry mom and I made Divinity the
4:07
other day when was the last time you had
4:08
some really good Divinity it's been a
4:10
long time yeah one and 1 12 teaspoons of
4:12
almond
4:13
y' so let's recap we've got half a cup
4:16
of powdered sugar two sticks of butter
4:18
we cream that up we add in 1 and 1/2
4:20
cups of flour we have 1 and 1/2
4:22
teaspoons of almond extract and now
4:24
we're going to continue to cream this up
4:26
and then we're going to fold in some
4:28
peans we want it to have that texture
4:30
cuz it's kind of a dry cookie so it's
4:32
really it's not a real creamy gooey pull
4:35
apart cookie it's more of a petite uh
4:39
tea cookie almost they're kind of
4:41
crumbly and they're delicious
4:43
though now Bobby has one cup of pecans
4:46
that we've chopped up totally crushed
4:48
and we're going to fold these in we
4:49
don't want to break them down to a dust
4:50
so we're going to treat them a little
4:52
bit gentler and we're going to fold it
4:53
into our stuff and then we're going to
4:55
get our hands dirty cuz you're going to
4:57
shape these into a crescent shape not
4:59
going to drop these this isn't a spoon
5:01
drop or anything like that you really
5:03
got to get your hands in here and work
5:04
with them then we'll bake them off for a
5:06
while and when they finish we'll dust
5:07
them with confectioner sugar and that is
5:10
your classic southern Sandy cookie mhm
5:14
super good need a good glass of milk to
5:16
go with it it's going to go awesome with
5:18
your bourbon s oh yeah B bourbon would
5:20
be fine too you want to help me shake
5:23
these nay I didn't think so it's going
5:25
to be messy yep what do we do okay just
5:28
take about
5:31
just a little momy used to do them in
5:32
logs remember but we're going to do
5:34
these in little half crescents we're
5:36
going to place them right here not too
5:38
big not too small I don't Bobby that's
5:40
perfect so maybe right out of the park
5:43
how much do you think that weighs um
5:45
what do you think that is maybe a
5:46
tablespoon 2 oz or
5:50
[Music]
5:55
so hey gray gray hi boys how you doing
5:59
y'all know
6:00
she's here for the big extra doing over
6:02
there we're making uh Mama's um what are
6:05
these called uh pecan sandies okay mhm
6:08
did you make these no darling I was not
6:10
a baker your
6:12
grandmother and your great grandmother
6:15
and Trina were the Bakers they could
6:18
bake anything across the board when it
6:20
come to oven cooking come sit down GRE
6:23
you want to I'd love to come sit and see
6:26
y'all's art at this you know what I
6:28
remember most about granny frying
6:30
chicken and doing green beans her beans
6:31
I'll never forget what was some of the
6:33
things that she was so good at baking uh
6:36
any type of cake uh very good at a
6:39
Japanese uh fruit cake which is I
6:42
remember M making don't I remember
6:43
coconut cakes too coconut uhhuh I love
6:47
this who who Who's who's is this uh
6:50
artwork here all of the good ones I did
6:53
okay and all the ones that are
6:55
questionable okay Bobby dead of course
6:57
that sound good yeah that go why don't
7:00
we bake them and I got a really good
7:02
apple cider on the stove too with or
7:05
without bourbon bourbon
7:07
please that's why we call her great
7:09
grape it's going in the oven at 275
7:11
y'all for about 45 minutes next we're
7:13
going to make some snow crackle cookies
7:16
and believe it or not that solder is
7:17
already ready there's only one
7:19
ingredient
7:20
missing let's see if we can't round it
7:23
up you thirsty great great yes I'm ready
7:26
for the apple cider
7:28
Plus apple cider plus all these memories
7:32
make me so
7:34
thirsty I'm going to have a cup of
7:37
cheer when you made a rapist for us it's
7:40
cup of cheer
7:41
[Music]
7:48
bro so welcome back to the dean family
7:51
cookie swap I'm here with my brother
7:52
Jamie and my wife Claudia who we're
7:54
celebrating our first Christmas together
7:56
so Cloud just so you know a cookie swap
7:58
is a tradition here in America America
8:00
at this time of year where you have a
8:01
party you invite folks over or you go to
8:03
a party everybody makes a different type
8:06
of cookie and then you swap them out
8:08
okay do you include the recipe you know
8:10
what that's a good idea some probably
8:12
some people swap recipes as well but
8:13
this is more of just to get together and
8:15
eat cookie thing so before you got here
8:17
Jamie and I were working on uh
8:18
recreating Mama's um pecan Sandy you had
8:22
Sandy no but it looked delicious it's
8:24
like a shortbread cookie would you like
8:25
to try one yes it's very good but this
8:27
cookie definit
8:29
bunch of
8:31
sugar this cookie this cookie definitely
8:34
needs a glass of milk because the name
8:36
sort of says what is a pecan Sandy it's
8:38
not exactly or or our apple cider that
8:42
Bobby started is just about finished and
8:44
while he and my sister are making their
8:47
what are you making sugar snow crackle
8:49
cookies making snow crackle cookies
8:51
cookies I'm going to test out our that's
8:54
delicious cider and since my boys aren't
8:56
here
8:57
yet that's a fine cookie maybe a little
8:59
really good cookie better than I
9:01
remember M it's really easy better than
9:03
you remember Mama's better than I
9:04
remember Mama's be so let you and I make
9:07
the snow snow crackle cookies right now
9:09
okay you'll be handling the mixer and
9:11
I'm going to mix together your dry
9:12
ingredients over here and then we'll
9:14
meet at the mixer Okay Go baby go so
9:17
we're going to add half a cup of white
9:20
sugar and one cup of brown
9:23
sugar one stick of butter Paula will be
9:26
very proud of me if she will see me
9:27
doing this one stick too few
9:30
you're leaving your to open for
9:31
disappointment sck I'm just going to mix
9:33
this for like 3 or 4 minutes so you can
9:35
start okay well over here for your uh
9:38
dry ingredients I'm going to start with
9:41
1 and 1/3 cups of allpurpose
9:44
flour and I've got a third measurer here
9:47
so this is just going to be four of
9:49
these then to that I'm going to add 1/2
9:52
cup of cocoa powder and it's already
9:53
measured out I love cocoa powder I do
9:56
too it's so good for you it has a bunch
9:58
of an
9:59
two it is two I believe two teaspoons of
10:03
baking
10:04
powder these are healthy cookies and
10:06
then an eigh yeah brown sugar and and
10:09
then an eighth teaspoon of salt so I'm
10:11
just going to mix these together now to
10:12
my left I've got 8 oz of semisweet
10:15
chocolate chips that we put in a double
10:16
boiler they're nice and soft and I've
10:18
got A3 cup of milk and we're going to
10:20
add those into your mixture right there
10:22
in just a minute right after you get
10:24
this flour cocoa powder these cookies
10:27
are awesome so what I'm going to do now
10:29
you know
10:29
so freaking good Alm I'm they're hot and
10:32
they're delicious I'm going to crack two
10:34
eggs wait I'm going to crack two eggs in
10:36
here in a half teaspoon of orange
10:40
extract or a little bit
10:43
more that's very po stuff too
10:47
so if you were accurate with any of your
10:49
ingredients you wanted it to be that one
10:51
do you think so I think I wanted to be
10:53
this one the sugar I'm going to have a
10:55
cup of
10:56
cheer who are you going to have a cheer
10:58
a cup of cheer
10:59
is that what that is yeah are you ready
11:02
I'm ready okay so lift lift your mixer
11:05
and let's add together the one and 1/3
11:08
cups of allpurpose flour a/2 cup of
11:10
cocoa powder 2 teaspoons of baking
11:12
powder and an 1/8th teaspoon of salt
11:15
yeah have good memory cheers y'all well
11:17
I'm a professional I'm a
11:20
professional I was talking about that I
11:23
never in my life care about cookies ever
11:26
until I moved to the United States
11:29
and I started seeing cookies everywhere
11:31
and I started eating them and I love
11:33
them they're so good well you have
11:35
traditions in Venezuela you know a
11:36
rapist and uh and then we have
11:39
traditions in America that that are
11:41
cookies when you made a rapist for us
11:44
it's cup of cheer bro when you made a
11:47
rap a rapist for us yeah have another
11:53
cup Jack has talked about those
11:56
continually he loves them and they go
11:57
with everything now two looks like
11:59
you've made a bowl of mud there sister
12:03
now to that I'm going to add the 8 O of
12:06
semisweet chocolate chips that have come
12:07
from the double boiler really good Bob
12:09
your cider is awesome yeah I know it is
12:11
brother and you know what about that
12:12
cider we didn't talk about this earlier
12:14
but it's really like Mama used to do
12:16
poper at the house homemade poper she
12:18
did yeah and and this cider is very much
12:21
like a with the oranges in it and the
12:23
cloves it's very much like a really nice
12:25
poper so it just fills your house with
12:28
with a great great smell while you're
12:29
making it cuz Jamie pointed it out if
12:31
you wanted to you could just microwave
12:32
it but the fact that you cook it on the
12:34
stove uh really just fills the house
12:37
with that great smell okay so that we've
12:39
added the chocolate chips or you can put
12:41
some apples in there and 1/3 cup of milk
12:43
we'll just add it slowly in this tastes
12:46
so
12:48
good wow third cup of milk these are
12:51
going to be amazing oh they're going to
12:52
be great yeah get it
12:56
going I like how it sounds
13:00
sounds like deliciousness yes it does so
13:03
one next baby now this is this is kind
13:04
of a uh a processing cookie you would at
13:06
this point you would let this sit for
13:08
about 2 hours in the fridge and get nice
13:11
and firm all right now this has been in
13:13
the refrigerator for a couple hours and
13:15
it's more than firm it's it's kind of uh
13:18
it's kind of hard so I'm just going to
13:19
pop it right on top of the double boiler
13:21
which is off but that water's still hot
13:22
and steaming so that's pretty quickly
13:24
going to soften this up and make it
13:25
really easy to use a small ice cream
13:27
scoop and scoop out our c cookies so
13:30
Cloud y'all know why I'm drinking
13:31
bourbon so early in this Christmas
13:33
special because it's a family event you
13:35
should see you should see the number of
13:37
lights that I put up in the back of this
13:38
house oh really oh it's like a Runway
13:41
lights out back oh just wait till it
13:43
gets dark I hope I'm still awake to see
13:45
it ah you know what baby we'll have to
13:47
roll them through this
13:49
sugar would do those look great oo so
13:52
you're supposed to boil those up yeah
13:54
you boil them up and then you run them
13:56
through sugar boil them up or you just
13:57
leave them looking like that I just like
13:59
this they're artistic
14:03
cookies so just put them in your hand
14:07
that looks very very natural and and uh
14:11
it's a good demonstration you got going
14:12
on cloud there you this really kind of
14:15
needs you want to do it Jamie sure here
14:17
it's
14:20
stiff will help
14:22
you these are going to be awesome yeah
14:25
they are you know what my favorite
14:27
cookie that mom used to make mom used to
14:28
make
14:29
oatmeal cookies I love she used make
14:31
raisin and oatmeal cookies that were so
14:33
great but my favorites were the ones
14:35
that she would put candies in Candy
14:37
Coated chocolate little candies mom used
14:39
to put those in her big cookies inside
14:41
of a cookie oh they were so good those
14:43
are my favorite just drink gallons of
14:44
milk with it you know which your that's
14:45
why I was a fat kid were you yes oh poor
14:49
thing I um one of my favorite ones I
14:52
love I love uh Bic
14:56
cookies L than a year and you already
14:57
have it down p I love uh peanut butter
15:00
cookies too oh they're so good I think
15:02
somebody's enjoying the cookies very
15:04
much they're very good and Jamie this
15:07
looks great but it's super crowded these
15:08
are going to be big cookies so I think
15:10
that we should put some of these on the
15:11
other sheet pan all right these are kind
15:13
of big so what's next so these go into
15:16
the oven at 350 for about 15 to 17
15:18
minutes and next we're going to make
15:20
some Italian Cherry cookies I love those
15:23
too me too I've never tried those well
15:25
today is your lucky day and this is
15:27
going to be a great family cookie swap
15:30
I'm going to have another
15:33
bourbon these cookies to me just scream
15:37
[Music]
15:49
Christmas you know there's there's
15:51
nothing more fun for me than to get in
15:53
here and make cookies with my bowi
15:57
[Laughter]
16:00
I didn't realize I said the word Bo so
16:03
funny you say a lot of words funny until
16:05
when until I heard Melanie hudel from
16:08
Saturday Night Live come in this kitchen
16:11
this very kitchen and she did a skit and
16:15
she said my
16:17
boes and I thought really sound it like
16:21
that she does a very good take on you I
16:23
love her look awesome those do look
16:26
awesome guys putting the finishing
16:27
touches on them I'm going to start
16:29
making on this end you know every
16:31
Christmas Don and Darlene come to the
16:34
house and spend Christmas with us and as
16:37
soon as Don walks in the house y'all Don
16:39
hires my cousin uh I say okay Don get
16:43
busy making the Cherry cookies and we're
16:46
going to start with a cup of sugar and
16:48
we're going to use a half a cup of solid
16:52
shortening all right now Jamie you want
16:54
to beat that up son all right just cream
16:58
that up
16:59
good and then oh is it delicious so good
17:04
momy you know we're having cook you know
17:05
we're having a cookie swap right who
17:07
made those me and Jamie and cloudia all
17:09
work together on these they're delicious
17:12
too they're very good
17:14
yeah they
17:17
are chewy ooey gooey in the center
17:20
they're rich they're rich I love
17:23
them yum go good with a with a nice big
17:26
cold glass of milk but mine are going to
17:28
be B better well because you're using
17:31
solid shortening
17:32
so how could they not be better you know
17:34
I just love these because don don puts
17:38
almond some almond extract in the
17:40
frosting that we're going to put on
17:42
these cookies and you know I'm just when
17:45
it comes to marcino cherries and uh
17:48
almond flavoring I'm just a goner I I
17:51
love it our liquid for our cookies y'all
17:54
is going to be a half a cup of marcino
17:57
juice would you try this too I made a
17:59
cidal Aid I made a cidal a recital I
18:03
love this made a cider a fresh apple
18:06
cider with two big oranges and some
18:09
cloves and cinnamon sticks Ain it great
18:12
out of this world that might be the B
18:15
with bin it's even
18:17
better really mhm you put bourbon in
18:21
cider I put bourbon in my cider of
18:23
course Jamie are you tipsy sign now that
18:26
you would know it listen I've seen those
18:29
blue red eyes many a night I want to
18:33
taste it pleas when you were a
18:36
teenager I seen them look at me she has
18:41
oh I've had 2 ounces of bourbon today I
18:43
think I'm okay boy is that good that is
18:46
out of this world that really really
18:47
good all right now Jamie this is going
18:48
to be hard to mix up you know I don't
18:50
know where Don got this recipe but
18:53
wherever he found it I am so happy about
18:57
it because these cookies to me just
19:00
scream Christmas might be a little
19:03
difficult at first to get the the juice
19:06
mixed up with your butter and sugar but
19:09
it's all right I just don't want to
19:11
Splatter any of this on our clothes
19:13
Jamie I would a for Bobby and I ruin our
19:15
Shir I don't think it would really make
19:17
any difference all
19:20
right this is a real simple recipe y'all
19:23
cuz it's kind of a just a dump a dump
19:27
cookie so I'm going to dump all right
19:30
you might want to turn that down son
19:32
you'll be looking like Frosty the
19:34
Snowman all right we're going to use
19:36
three cups of flour and this is all
19:42
purpose and we're going to add two
19:45
teaspoons of baking
19:49
powder and that's going to make them
19:52
rise
19:54
Cherry spread out much y'all these these
19:57
don't like spread out get to be big
19:59
cookies they're little they're like
20:01
perfect bites you ate a lot of them
20:04
didn't you son M and then uh this is
20:07
going to be our last cup of flour thank
20:11
you and I'm going to
20:14
add about a half a teaspoon of
20:18
salt then we're going to fold in the
20:20
nuts and the cherries yes now why are
20:22
these not going to spread out like like
20:24
other cookies do I don't know son I
20:27
guess it's the thickness of the dough
20:29
well you can see that it's not I'm going
20:31
to add about a four it's not a very wet
20:33
cookie about a four of a teaspoon of
20:35
almond flavoring because we're going to
20:38
use that almond again y'all in that
20:41
beautiful pink frosting that we're going
20:43
to put on it I'm going to add just a
20:45
little bit more
20:46
flour because it looks a little
20:50
sticky so just a little bit
20:54
more y'all sure do look cute in your
20:57
matching shirts did y'all do that on
20:59
purpose no we never do and it always
21:04
happens y'all got good taste you know
21:07
you know we've been doing this our our
21:09
whole lives everywhere we go channeling
21:11
y'all Channel each other like twins we
21:14
when we go places in separate cars and
21:15
get there and we're wearing the same
21:16
clothes you're so quiet so frustrating
21:19
that's the B your mother that's the
21:22
B all right Jamie that looks good why
21:24
don't we fold in look good Jamie why
21:25
don't we fold in the nuts and the
21:27
cherries just sling it your there you go
21:30
Paula did you ever dress them up in the
21:32
same outfit when they were kids did you
21:34
ever torture them like that you know
21:35
Gordon I I did used to dress them alike
21:39
one of my favorite alike there you go
21:41
Bobby one of my favorite uh matching
21:44
outfits that I used to put y'all in was
21:47
the little overalls do you remember yeah
21:49
I got that picture in the den overalls
21:51
and a red
21:53
turtleneck oh and y'all was so cute to
21:55
my eyes so that's a half cup of walnuts
21:58
chopped walnuts and now a/2 cup of
22:00
marcino cherries yes and we'll just fold
22:03
that in it's important when you're
22:05
dropping your cookies onto the baking
22:07
sheet that they're all the same size
22:10
because if you make them different sizes
22:12
they're going to cook differently the
22:14
cookies right there are awesome those
22:15
are really good oh son and to did you
22:18
let Mama try the pecan sandies Mama we
22:21
made your pecan sandies to all right
22:22
that's Grandma's recipe Grandma Pauls
22:25
y'all remember going out there and uh
22:28
open in her tin and she would have those
22:30
peek in sandies or grandma called them
22:33
uh sand Tarts that's got a very
22:36
appealing name oh yes it is all right
22:38
now I'm going to spray
22:40
this so our cookie d right there
22:44
okay Mom get me started on the frosting
22:46
how do we make that all right well son
22:48
it's just real
22:50
easy all right Bobby you want to come do
22:53
this mhm me have a little Bourbon and
22:55
like a no bourbon in this it's just the
22:57
cider it's really good that cider is out
22:59
of this world you know I feel like if
23:01
you were get in a cold or
23:04
something all right let me take over
23:06
okay I think we can get like four to a
23:08
row all right all right now for our uh
23:12
frosting y'all we're going to use one
23:14
and A4 cup of powdered sugar
23:18
okay you ever seen that look before mama
23:21
oh God that's why I'm saying it's scary
23:23
I've seen it before I'm just sitting
23:25
here waiting on instruction no you're
23:27
looking guilty you're looking guilty all
23:31
right there's one in a fourth and Jamie
23:34
this is that liquid food coloring I mean
23:37
a little bit goes a long way like
23:43
bourbon well you ain't kidding a little
23:45
bit it's that Jail jail J
23:50
gel that's hard to say how much gel
23:54
that's hard to say I don't remember hold
23:56
on I'm trying to think of y'all y'all is
23:58
rushing
23:59
me all right we're going to put a
24:02
teaspoon of our solid short in again
24:08
excuse me Bobby we crossing over each
24:10
other about a teaspoon or you can start
24:14
mixing that son with this tiny little uh
24:17
melon ball scoop I'm going to need about
24:19
four more of these pants I know but we
24:21
make them real small cuz they're small
24:23
they're only like 10 minutes yeah 3 for
24:25
about 10 minutes like a Mac 8 minutes
24:27
maybe eight minutes all right well I'm
24:29
going to go ahead and pop these in the
24:30
other okay I'm going to drop you just a
24:32
little bit of milk son I like to do this
24:35
like slow and
24:37
easy all right let's see if that Red's
24:40
going to come to life oh it's coming to
24:42
life look that little bitty drop of jail
24:45
goes along of
24:49
what jail yes g e l
24:54
gel coloring gel yes all right a little
24:58
bit more on
24:59
milk and probably by the time we get
25:02
through doing it it may be three
25:05
teaspoons maybe one tablespoon not a
25:08
whole bunch though just eyeball it y'all
25:11
look y'all I put the
25:15
tip of a toothpick of gel on it and look
25:20
how dark pink it is that stuff really
25:23
went a long way all right let me just
25:25
feel of that with my finger son please
25:29
all right I think that's perfect because
25:32
after this sets up it'll get hard so
25:34
they won't we try that that's good has
25:36
it got enough almond in it no tastes
25:39
like powdered sugar too much yeah that's
25:41
what I was thinking a little bit more
25:42
almond okay so then we'll have this
25:44
strap it's kind of just sweet that's all
25:45
it is yeah it's fixing be something
25:52
else I could drink that and if I did I
25:55
would throw up cuz you know it smells so
25:59
good and tastes so
26:05
nasty whoa you going to get it too thin
26:08
it's going to be perfect no that's not
26:10
that's going to fall off the cookie
26:12
now you and I never could agree in
26:15
the how many fights do we have Merry
26:19
Christmas y'all today I know this is
26:21
going to be perfect when we get back in
26:23
the kitchen and the cookies will be
26:24
ready we'll Frost these we got a huge
26:26
surprise coming up outside yes setting
26:29
up a boxing
26:31
ring no we're not y'all we're not
26:33
setting up a boxing ring but we are
26:36
setting up a huge surprise for
26:39
y'all and I think you're going to love
26:41
it wait till you see the
26:44
lights oh that's much better Mom keep
26:46

26:48

27:10
one let me show y'all how to do this no
27:13
Jamie no Bobby no oh you're so used to
27:15
calling out the good sons look at that
27:18
look at that Jamie you got your I and
27:20
perfect son just let him kiss a little
27:23
bit I mean it's a perfect consistency
27:26
and it won't take it but a minute for
27:28
that to kind of Harden on
27:30
there and then if you want to you can
27:32
come back and put you some more little
27:34
ice and so this is cousin recipe cousin
