- Hey y'all, girls, right off the bat,
0:03
I got a question to ask you.
0:06
Are you already as sick of football as I am?
0:10
And it's just started,
0:12
but you got to keep your partner happy.
0:14
You got to keep them fed
0:16
and you've got to make sure they've got the remote
0:18
in their hand but the most important
0:22
is giving them something to put in their belly.
0:24
Oh, by the way, I would like to ask y'all
0:27
if you would hit the subscribe button
0:29
'cause it really helps me out a lot.
0:32
Y'all have always been so good about being there.
0:36
All right, now I've got two different kind of peppers here.
0:39
This is a Pimiento cheese stuffed pepper.
0:43
Now I've got four halves of jalapenos
0:47
because Michael likes some hot, he had to go run an errand
0:51
but hopefully when he gets back, I'll have one
0:54
of those ready for him to eat.
0:58
So these are all sweet peppers
1:01
and I par boiled them for about two minutes y'all
1:06
because I want them to have a little softness to them.
1:11
But if you like a lot of crunch then don't par boil them.
1:16
And there's so many ways
1:18
you can change this recipe up y'all.
1:20
You could add some cream cheese to the pimento cheese
1:26
and then you could wrap it in some bacon
1:28
and they're so good, that brings me back
1:32
to my jalapeno that I've stuffed with cream cheese
1:37
and sausage and wrap them in bacon
1:41
and put them in the oven and they are so incredibly good.
1:45
But this is just kind of a plain down recipe
1:53
from my normal jalapeno peppers.
1:55
Now we are just going to put,
1:58
depends on what size peppers you're using.
2:01
Now the sweet peppers are a little on the small side
2:08
so we're just going to dust that.
2:14
It's that season time.
2:16
Okay, that was half and half that I just dipped it in
2:20
and now we're running it through Panko
2:27
and your recipe will tell you to bake this
2:29
in your oven for about 30 or 35 minutes.
2:32
But I am not gonna be doing that
2:34
because I have cooked 1000 stuffed jalapenos
2:39
and they do beautifully in my air fryer.
2:41
So that's the way I'm going this morning.
2:55
That's the very last one.
2:58
I think I'm gonna wash my hands first,
3:03
and let me caution y'all
3:05
about when you're handling jalapenos, be very, very careful.
3:12
Some people prefer to put on those real thin rubber gloves,
3:18
which is not a bad idea because I've seen
3:22
more than one person here in the kitchen helping me
3:26
with things that got burned up kind of bad.
3:32
So if you think it won't agree with you, put on your gloves
3:37
and then if you're not wearing gloves, don't put your finger
3:41
in your nose or your eyes 'cause that really will hurt.
3:45
All right, so in a regular oven,
3:47
this is supposed to cook for about 30 or 35 minutes,
3:50
but in the air fryer it's not gonna take
3:53
nearly that long I don't think.
3:55
So I've got the jalapenos, which are big
3:59
and I've got the sweet peppers, which are small.
4:02
So the small we'll probably get
4:04
ready before the big jalapenos.
4:07
So I've got my liner here in my air fryer,
4:15
which helps keep it clean.
4:21
And I'm gonna just lay them in here.
4:30
The Panko sticks real good
4:32
to the Pimento cheese part,
4:40
but it doesn't stick so good
4:41
on the actual pepper 'cause that skin is slick.
4:47
All right, now the very last step I'm gonna do
4:49
is I'm gonna spray those because when you spray it
4:52
with a non-stick spray, it helps to make the crust crustier.
4:58
And I think we all like crunch, don't we?
5:05
This is just about empty.
5:16
Okay, I think that's plenty.
5:26
if I could hold that up then I know it would be plenty.
5:29
I may have to get some more.
5:31
All right, now let's see.
5:32
I'm gonna set my air fryer on vegetable
5:40
and that will cook for eight minutes,
5:42
which I know that we'll have to go further than that y'all.
5:45
But eight minutes is good
5:47
because I can check it and then do what's necessary.
5:52
Okay, the timer just went off
5:55
and the cheese is melted but they are not, ouch,
5:58
nearly as brown as they need to be.
6:01
So I'm gonna turn this up, I'm gonna put it on wings
6:07
and that'll take the temperature to 400 degrees.
6:12
Okay y'all, I told you,
6:14
I'd probably have to take the smaller peppers out first.
6:20
So I've left the big ones in.
6:22
There was one little one that wasn't quite ready yet,
6:25
so, they cooked so quick.
6:31
Like they weren't in there not even 15 minutes were they?
6:35
No, about 12 or 13 minutes.
6:41
It's gonna give them a chance to cool off
6:45
before I pop a popper in my mouth because you know
6:50
that cheese will take the skin off the roof of your mouth.
6:53
So I'm gonna sit those down
6:55
and we're gonna wait for the jalapenos to get ready
6:59
and hopefully they'll be ready
7:00
before Michael walks back in from his errand.
7:04
Oh my goodness, I'm so glad I took some
7:06
of the smaller ones out, so now I can taste them.
7:14
And they're so yummy, so, so yummy.
7:24
And I think they do better though in the bigger pepper.
7:29
See how pretty that one is?
7:37
Your men will love it and your girls will love it too.
7:44
A lot of households, some men do the cooking,
7:47
so I say hang on to those,
7:49
hang on to those girl.
7:52
Love and best dishes y'all.
7:55
- [Speaker] Hey, you wanna hear
7:57
the craziest thing I've ever done or one of them?
8:00
- I told y'all that Michael had an errand to run.
8:04
Well he was actually going
8:05
to the alteration shop because his jeans were too long.
8:09
- And my wife won't him them for me, so.
8:14
He's just married to this ass piece of crap.
8:16
- Let me tell you a story.
8:18
- He's wearing his pants now.
8:20
- So I wear my pants.
8:21
Paula said, can I pin them for you?
8:23
- I have you something.
8:25
- No, I just soon let.
8:27
- Let the lady that's gonna do it,
8:30
I grabbed another pair of jeans, the same kind.
8:32
So I was gonna have her alter both pair of jeans
8:35
but I was wearing one pair.
8:38
So when I got there, she says she pinned them
8:42
and says, okay, leave both pair right there.
8:45
And I says, oh no, all I have is underwear at home.
8:51
So I went to my truck
8:53
knowing that I would have something in my truck.
8:58
- I've never seen this beautiful outfit.
9:00
- So I had rain pants on.
9:04
I found rain pants in my truck
9:07
and I had other errands to run and I said I can't,
9:11
there's no way I can wear this.
9:14
So I'll come back to changing the.
9:16
- [Speaker 2] this morning.
9:18
- Look at his hat and his shirt, jalapeno.
9:21
Now be careful 'cause they're cheesy.
9:23
I couldn't wait for you to get home to try them.
9:28
You know I've cooked many stuffed jalapeno.
9:33
- Aren't they good, with bacon,
9:34
it's just stuffed with Pimento cheese.
9:37
- Delicious, you should write a cookbook.
9:40
- I know it, I'm thinking about it.
9:44
All right, is that hot?
9:50
Okay, well they were de seeded,
9:51
so if you like something really hot,
9:54
leave some of the seeds in it.
9:59
