So, hey y'all. I Today is all about my
0:04
boys. Uh, I hope y'all enjoyed meeting
0:07
Henry. Now, I got one of the next
0:09
generation of boys with me.
0:11
Uh, my son Bobby. Wasn't Henry cute?
0:14
Oh, he's the best. Well, no, he's Let's
0:16
see. How many of them are there? Five.
0:18
He's one of the best.
0:19
No, he's six. Bennett. Bennett has come
0:21
on the
0:22
scene. He's a good kid.
0:24
Oh, yeah. He doesn't say a word.
0:27
Bennett.
0:27
Bennett. No, not Bennett doesn't say a
0:30
word. He ain't bothering nobody.
0:33
But Henry is um he can come out with the
0:37
most incredible things
0:40
uh once he starts talking
0:43
and I hope he'll get more comfortable in
0:45
front of the camera because he Henry can
0:48
be very very entertaining.
0:50
Yeah,
0:51
he has his papa and I just dying
0:53
laughing. the whole family. We're just
0:55
loaded with
0:56
I know we all went over, you know, we
0:59
kind of wrapping up the the holidays at
1:02
our house, Christmas. We really extended
1:05
Christmas a little past Christmas and um
1:09
we went to Jaime's
1:12
Saturday night.
1:13
Oh yeah.
1:14
To have dinner. Jamie made
1:16
so much fun.
1:16
I know. Jamie made a pot of chili and we
1:20
had so much fun. And when we got there,
1:22
Matthew decided that he was going to put
1:25
on a show and he was going to charge for
1:28
it. So, admission was $2 a piece.
1:34
Over overpriced.
1:36
Yeah, it was a little overpriced, but in
1:39
their stocking, I had given them these
1:41
soft things that you throw against
1:44
glass. And one of them is an egg, one is
1:47
a tomato.
1:48
They're fake eggs, fake tomatoes. and
1:50
you throw them against windows and they
1:52
it's like it splats but it's just rubber
1:55
and it's hilarious.
1:57
It's perfect for a kid who's putting on
1:59
a show if you've got tomatoes that you
2:01
can throw at him that won't hurt him.
2:03
Well,
2:03
so we threw tomatoes and eggs at
2:04
his uncle Bobby and I
2:08
got to introduce him to the real world.
2:09
Uhhuh.
2:10
It ain't easy, kid.
2:11
Started started throwing tomatoes and
2:13
eggs at him.
2:14
We got mad
2:15
and he got the funniest look on his face
2:17
like he was fixing to cry. And then all
2:20
of a sudden it turned to madness and
2:25
it was hilarious.
2:26
It was the look on his face was
2:28
hilarious.
2:29
Yeah. But you know
2:30
he had he had he had a guitar. He was
2:33
playing the guitar and he told me he
2:36
said, "Well, I'm out of musical
2:38
instruments, so you going to have to
2:39
play the chainsaw."
2:41
So she was trying to play the chainsaw
2:43
to Jingle Bells.
2:45
Don't you need to clarify? It's not a
2:47
real chainsaw. Oh, no. It was his toy
2:50
chainsaw.
2:51
And then he had Mims uh playing the
2:54
chainsaw. And then he had Ain't Claudia
2:57
come in and sing along with them. So
3:01
there was three of them doing this show.
3:03
Quality entertainment.
3:04
Yes.
3:07
But you know that little booger had $16
3:09
at the end of his show. So he did pretty
3:12
good.
3:12
So much fun.

4:08
Okay, we're back, y'all. Let's see if
4:11
Bobby's collected his thoughts now.
4:14
All right. You ready, son?
4:16
I'm ready.
4:17
Okay. Tell us about your holiday.
4:20
So, uh, Cloud's parents, my wife's
4:22
parents live in Panama City, Panama. And
4:24
what we've always done is, uh, we spend
4:27
Christmas with my family and then we'll
4:30
do New Year's with Cloud's family. And
4:31
we always go to someplace interesting
4:34
and fun and someplace that they've never
4:35
been. And, uh,
4:37
but they spent Christmas with us this
4:39
year. And
4:40
this year, this year was a little
4:41
unusual. They were they were in the
4:44
States for Christmas and so we got to
4:45
spend
4:46
Christmas together and we got to spend
4:49
uh New Year's together and uh it was
4:53
really great because I get to see them.
4:55
First of all, my wife's parents are
4:56
really they're
4:57
Oh, they're they're just the neatest
4:59
folks.
4:59
They're fun and funny and interesting.
5:02
They're beautiful. They they appear to
5:04
still be so young.
5:06
Yeah.
5:06
So, it was I I just thought it was great
5:09
because we had Brook's parents with us.
5:11
Mhm. Uh, we had your in-laws with us.
5:15
So, I love it we can when we can all be
5:17
together as a family and you're not
5:19
having to run here and Jamie's not
5:21
having to run there, you know. We all
5:24
just had a nice long day together. Yeah.
5:26
So, it was wonderful. It was a uh
5:30
eclectic mix of people and her parent
5:32
her parents fit right in with with our
5:35
group because they're fun and they're
5:36
funny and they got a good sense of humor
5:37
and they like food and
5:40
uh if you if if you have those qualities
5:43
then you can fit in with our family.
5:45
Yeah. You know, we're kind of tired of
5:47
ham and turkey at our house. So, I
5:49
always cook beef for Christmas.
5:51
Yes, you did.
5:53
A side of beef.
5:56
I know. You know, son, I got scared and
6:00
I I I bought like between
6:03
How many tenderloins did you have?
6:05
Five. And I I spent between five and
6:08
$700
6:11
for five tenderloins. And you know, I
6:13
never know how many people's going to be
6:15
there. And uh I almost had to take out a
6:18
second mortgage for all those
6:20
tenderloins out there.
6:21
And there was leftovers, right?
6:23
Oh my gosh. Yes. Yeah. So, I decided at
6:25
the last minute, well, I'll only cook
6:27
four. And we still had one and a half
6:29
tenderloins left over. Man,
6:31
and you know, tenderloins are expensive.
6:34
I mean, you want to cook just just
6:36
enough. But, uh, yeah, I kind of overdid
6:38
it.
6:39
They were good, though.
6:41
I overdid it, too.
6:42
I know. Michael was passing out
6:44
tenderloin as everybody left. And, um, I
6:48
had made
6:48
Have a Have a tenderloin.
6:50
Yes.
6:52
A whole one.
6:52
Yes. And uh my banana trees really made
6:57
bananas this year. Just beautiful
6:59
bananas. And they're bananas that are
7:02
about this big, y'all. And they just
7:04
taste so different from a grocery store
7:08
banana. So I spent one afternoon making
7:11
nothing but banana nut bread. And so I
7:15
had it.
7:15
Oh man, was it good, too. Some of it,
7:17
one of them ended up at my house. Yes.
7:19
And you should have seen Oh, ask cloud
7:21
about the banana nut bread.
7:25
What?
7:26
She lit into it.
7:28
Oh, she did
7:30
and ate most of it.
7:32
I I did.
7:32
I only got a little bit.
7:35
But I I had them in pretty little sacks,
7:38
Christmas sacks, and so
7:40
asked everybody as they were leaving to
7:42
take one. Uh so they had they had banana
7:45
nut bread and tenderloin.
7:49
as as uh party favors as they were
7:52
leaving.
7:53
So good. I love I love a Christmas or a
7:55
Thanksgiving meal at your house or
7:56
Easter or any Sunday or any Monday or
7:59
any Wednesday.
8:00
I do too, son. And I just love having
8:03
everybody there because it really is
8:05
about family and friends and good food.
8:09
Last night it was French onion soup.
8:11
Yes, I made last night I made a pot of
8:14
French onion soup and it was incredible.
8:18
Wow.
8:19
So rich. And uh I'll have to make French
8:22
onion soup on uh
8:24
positively Paula one day because
8:27
I had uh I found one fillet minan little
8:31
steak that I had in the freezer.
8:33
So I took it out and I dice it up
8:36
because I like just a little protein
8:39
down in the bottom of my bowl of soup.
8:42
Um, so when you take a bite of that
8:45
onion, you got a little bite of filet
8:47
minan. Really was good. And I topped it
8:51
with Eddie bread. Eddie bread is the
8:55
homemade bread that Eddie, my assistant,
8:58
makes.
9:00
And oh, I toasted Eddie bread and put on
9:03
top of all five kinds of cheeses. It was
9:08
so good. I'm going to make that on on uh
9:11
Positively Paula one day.
9:14
You should have Eddie come on the show
9:15
with you and have him bake bread and you
9:17
do the French.
9:18
I know. That's a great idea.
9:20
Yeah. It's good to be with you today.
9:22
It's good to be with you too, my
9:23
darling. I love you so much, Sunny Boy.
9:27
Love you, too.
9:27
And we send y'all uh a whole bunch of
9:30
love and best dishes out there to y'all
9:33
and tenderloins.
9:34
Thanks for Yeah.
9:36
Thanks for joining us today. Come by the
9:39
house.
9:40
Yes. Come eat.
