birthday in Key West so that's why the

lookalike contest was held in July in

Key West it was so terribly hot wasn't

was hotter here so well it it doesn't it

didn't feel hotter here I gu yes because

in Key West you spend so much time out

of doors where here we run from the car

to the house or whatever but uh it just

felt so incredibly hot and let me tell

y'all about this you know uh him andway

had a lot of different looks well one of

his looks is in that wool turtleneck

sweater well my husband decided this

year that that's was going to be his

look that he was going to wear that wool

sweater well he did how much weight you

think you lost oh I don't think I lost

any um I'd say you sweated some off I

sweat some but uh the last four or five

winners have won with the wool sweat on

so that's definitely they look they're

looking for yeah so I I put it on for

but um believe believe it or not I I

carried it with me and a a bag and then

uh just before the I slipped it on just

before the contest some of the guys wore

there David the my buddy that won David

he wore um he actually walked there with

they really test your uh endurance and

the top five again this year Michael was

that and like I said my one of my good

but uh relatively speaking I'm I'm one

of the younger guys so believe it or not

good idea to get buddies with all the

there cuz some of us going to need it

the strongest man I think I've ever met

one one day I went down there and I um

the worst thing you can do with arm ass

is be overconfident yeah and think you

that and I just sat there I was kind of

laxing days going just just kind of a I

remember you playing that guy you go and

then I'll pick up the pieces so uhhuh

so I messed around and the guy guy got

me down the guy beat me which I know he

couldn't do it again that first year no

being very courteous and I was aware

that you were a newcomer I was just

using my arm and uh he jumped in there

it's it's a neat contest you meet people

um yeah we've met some interesting

people they're really um really some

neat people in friends uh and of course

I think that they think that you're old

and Michael just celebrated his 60th

birthday yeah uh in December so I'm the

I'm the punk in the group I know I know

Matt um he's he's a lot younger Matt

no not Matt oh oh oh the other Matt yes

there is one guy that comes in his name

is Matt and he looks just like Ernest

The Mamas this past weekend I said now

Paula was plucking hairs off my nose and

we were in the airplane the light

shining just right and I said oh you got

a few hairs right here that not supposed

uh so she kept doing it kept doing it I

said so the light was shining on her on

just she's got a real light you can't

even tell really but I said he's worried

so much about my plucking my hair how

distressed so when we got to New York

she got the the driver to stop at um at

the CVS so I walked in with her and she

Walgreens whatever whatever so I walked

Walgreens is my favorite so I said I'm

just just walked in see what you were

and so I figured she had something

personal to do so I just left her alone

we got to the um when we got to the room

she she had bought some mustache

wax so she put this on her she put this

on her lip and uh ripped the ripped a

little bit of hair she had I thought

that just mortified me that you said

something like that I didn't know you

well you didn't realize I was joking to

now it wouldn't bother me a bit but I

embarrassed and so um it didn't get you

to quit plugging my hair for for five

minutes for a day maybe I can't stand

like that I can't stand it but sometimes

I I've been driving in New York and Paul

because it's 100 degrees nobody's going

to wear a hat but I so I have these

glasses and has a little um has a

captain's hat it looks like just a front

of the captain hatar a captain turn to

the side it's just um so it's wide open

it's really a cool hat so I gave them

out I kind of screwed up though I gave

them out early and then people said oh I

got a souvenir and they'd go wander off

put put them in the suitcase take home

so but if y'all if y'all ever available
