hey y'all welcome to what's cooking with
0:02
Paula well this week I've got uh my son
0:05
Bobby here with me and uh it's hard not
0:09
to notice that he's got like stitches in
0:13
his ear Tada with this white bandage
0:16
well let me tell y'all how he wound up
0:18
with this stuff Bobby does jiujitsu
0:21
every day of his life and he loves
0:26
it but I didn't know that cuz it makes
0:28
me feel so good yeah yeah and she yeah
0:32
makes you feel so
0:34
good he's Bobby how old are you now son
0:37
45 58 I no you're
0:40
not I'm 46 years old 46 okay I couldn't
0:44
remember if you'd had your 46th birthday
0:46
or not uh so Bobby is in this Jiu-Jitsu
0:49
class fighting men half his age twice my
0:54
size yeah
0:57
so one of the one of the repercussion
1:00
y'all of wrestling Bobby explained to me
1:03
that I didn't know that if you're a
1:05
wrestler you get cauliflower ears yep
1:08
because your head gets pinned down if
1:10
you're doing it right you get
1:11
cauliflower ears well Bobby got up one
1:15
day and cloudia said that's ugly that is
1:19
ugly I think you have a cauliflower ear
1:21
and I was beginning to get it oh boy
1:23
it's so tender oh I bet it is yeah well
1:25
let me say this there's a difference
1:26
between wrestling and wrestling I ain't
1:29
wrestling
1:30
did I say it wrong no you said it right
1:33
it's just a different thing WR wrestling
1:37
wrestling wrestling that's what I call
1:39
it w r a s t i n g l i n g I love it but
1:46
Bobby's got a sore ear sore tender I've
1:49
got a sore knee I just had surgery uh
1:52
Thursday on my knee so between the two
1:54
of us we can make a whole person break
1:56
we're breaking down we're breaking down
2:01
speak for yourself son it hurts to be so
2:03
healthy it
2:06
doesn't oh I wish you cut it down to
2:08
maybe two or three times a week not
2:10
every day not every day um so Bobby and
2:15
I the last time we were together and we
2:17
tried to answer questions that people
2:19
send to us so uh last time we didn't
2:23
have a whole all I did was ask the
2:25
questions you tried to answer yes well
2:27
we we had time a time getting F because
2:31
you know this is the middle of the day
2:33
and most people are working and all but
2:35
we're going to try to answer some more
2:37
questions you want to do some if we can
2:39
get y'all on the phone so if you hear
2:41
your phone ringing please answer it I
2:43
got some good ones right here we do have

a
4:12
question contain yourself Leela contain
4:15
yourself don't be so excited it really
4:18

4:22
poine Cal
4:28
down give me this is a hoax or not
4:31
really no it's not a hoax how many
4:33
people call you Leela and say hey this
4:35
is Pauline and then you're like no this
4:37
is a
4:40
ho ever how many times has that
4:43
happened never not once not
4:46
never all right Leela you you Leela
4:50
submitted a question did you do you
4:51
remember what it
4:52
was
4:54
no well let me remind you Leela because
4:58
I happen to have it right
5:00
here Lea Leela you submitted a question
5:03
to my mom we by the way I don't think
5:06
that we've explained this to you we're
5:07
in the middle of a podcast we're doing
5:09
mom's uh what's cooking with Pauline
5:11
podcast right now and whenever yes and
5:15
when so you're on Voice TV Lea you're on
5:18
we're on we're we're on the air so
5:20
whenever you um whenever you submit a
5:24
question we go through them and find
5:25
some of the most interesting and we uh
5:27
we do them on the podcast so that's
5:29
happening right now so you are on the
5:31
podcast with um with Paula and me right
5:33
now and here was your question Lea is it
5:35
Leela or
5:36
Leila it's Leela Leela that's what I
5:39
thought yeah my my family's from
5:43
Arkansas so it's Leela yeah well it's a
5:46
pretty name okay uh your question Leela
5:49
was I need to find a non-dairy cream
5:52
cheese do you remember this now Leela it
5:54
ringing a bell oh yeah yeah I do all
5:57
right I need to find a nere cream cheese
5:58
do you have any idea is
6:00
so take it away you two I am so sorry
6:03
Leela I don't have an answer okay Leela
6:06
thank you very
6:09
much we enjoyed having
6:13
you Bobby do you can you answer that a
6:16
non-dairy cream cheese yeah they
6:18
actually make uh Leela I just mentioned
6:20
my wife my wife is a triathlete and she
6:24
is vegan so she's turned vegan because
6:28
uh she told me right now she's just a
6:30
vegetarian Bobby it it feels the hunger
6:33
pangs at my house feel
6:36
vegan but they may they may just be
6:38
vegetarian I'm really not sure she goes
6:42
back and
6:43
forth and I don't question it because
6:46
I'm a good smart
6:49
husband Lea my my wife recently brought
6:52
home a uh vegan cream cheese it's made
6:58
from uh
7:00
almonds and oh boy is it good you kiding
7:05
no it is now where did she find that
7:07
Bobby it's at uh and Leela I don't have
7:11
an allegiance to any particular grocery
7:13
store but this is just where it is um
7:16
it's in the dairy section at Whole Foods
7:19
here in Savannah are you near a whole
7:21
food
7:23
Leela yeah there's one in um about 35
7:28
miles from where I'm oh boy is that far
7:30
to go to get a non-dairy cream cheese
7:33
but if you have a uh if you have a a man
7:37
I hate to be naming grocery stores but
7:38
if you have a lies or if you have a
7:41
fresh market or or or probably any kind
7:43
of a health food store they do make a
7:46
very good
7:48
nondairy uh cream cheese and you won't
7:51
you won't regret it it's made with
7:53
almonds does it taste like almonds Bobby
7:55
it doesn't it tastes like cream cheese
7:57
and I'll tell you what we it's great and
7:59
they make them with um there's one that
8:02
has chives in it and I use it uh
8:06
sometimes whenever I make I I use it as
8:08
a as a dip for chips or um you could
8:12
most definitely use it in recipes but I
8:15
use it too as a spread for if I'm making
8:17
like a turkey wrap or something like
8:19
that or I like to dip carrots in it raw
8:21
carrots or asparagus or any sort of a
8:24
fresh vegetable is great in it so yes
8:27
Leela the answer is it's out there and
8:29
it's not hard to find and they're going
8:30
to be they're going to be almond based
8:32
and Leela you and I or cashew or cashew
8:35
based as well you and I both learned
8:37
something this morning dear so I'm going
8:39
to have to try that but that sounds
8:41
perfect for uh people that have dairy
8:44
allergies oh so good the thing is is
8:48
that around here we don't call them we
8:52
call them am
8:54
[Music]
8:56
Ammons wow Lea that's funny I don't care
8:59
who are that's
9:00
funny well
9:05
almm almond on the trees andm when they
9:09
harvest them they shake the L out of
9:15
them now see that's good Leela Leela
9:19
would you ever be willing to travel to
9:21
Savannah to appear in person on the
9:22
poine
9:26
out that's funny girl very good thank
9:31
you for bringing us you giving me this
9:34
information that it will help my family
9:37
well I'm glad my son was here uh because
9:41
I'm guilty of using the real thing you
9:43
know all the time but like I said they
9:46
eat very clean and there's certain
9:48
things that they want to stay away from
9:50
so I'm so glad he was here to help you
9:52
this morning yeah some people some
9:54
people have dairy allergies you know
9:56
some some people have to find
9:58
Alternatives and wife is loaded with
10:00
allergies too for for as health as she
10:02
is she's got a lot of allergies so does
10:03
she I didn't realize that uh cashew
10:06
based and almond based and you'll you'll
10:07
