0:46
to answer questions that we get on our
0:50
podcast so I'm calling you to answer
0:55
your question do you remember what it
0:59
was yes yes your 40s your 47th
1:10
anniversary oh listen you and I may
1:17
share the same birthday we do yes oh my
1:24
gosh how's it been for you I know I know
1:44
it is so good yes yes that's almost like
1:52
a corn cake but you know we have we
1:57
don't have the identical same vegetables
1:59
every day so I'm so sorry that we
2:04
weren't serving it the day of your
2:05
anniversary because I'm with you but you
2:08
know it's one of those foods that we
2:10
should not eat often
2:13
corne you know and how can that be
2:17
it's a vegetable God made that vegetable
2:21
how can it not be good for us I know and
2:27
potatoes are my weakness Sharon I just
2:30
love a potato and that's creamed corn
2:34
I'm like you I could eat a gallon with
2:37
vine-ripe sliced tomatoes and onions oh
2:40
oh gosh well I'm so sorry so you'll just
2:44
have to come back on your 48th
2:46
anniversary
2:51
[Music]
2:52
yes yes in Pigeon Forge just great well
3:02
you know it's like an apple in an orange
3:06
but peach and forage I said every door
3:10
has some type of entertainment behind it
3:12
yes and our yeah our grandchildren just
3:17
love it well I am so so sorry
3:24
oh yes yes and if you come back to
3:29
Savannah you'll just have to call ahead
3:32
of time and check and if you request it
3:35
they'll cook it yes yes but just give
3:46
them enough time don't call them at
3:49
11:00 and say Paula said to put corn on
3:54
the menu right night huh you get me in
3:59
trouble well I've enjoyed chatting with
4:05
you so much Sharon what worry I don't
4:09
know I'm not familiar with the area code
4:11
what steaks you're located with oh yes
4:17
you know I started Elizabethtown what
4:21
not feels making fun of me the producer
4:24

4:32

6:00
eight hundred six five nine 3300 green
6:08
corn it go it's just stupid easy but you
6:13
gotta have you gotta have no you gotta
6:20
have silver queen silver I like white
6:24
silver cream corn and you just have to
6:28
grade it and I've got a corn cutter it's
6:31
stainless and you can adjust the blade
6:34
but you want to just nip the tops off
6:37
and then you want a great
6:39
all that juice that comes out of that
6:42
corn and you just bake it with butter
6:45
that's it just bake it and stir it good
6:49
is it bakes and it like I said it's just
6:52
stupid easy the hard part is the great
6:56
you know silk and the corn great knit
7:00
that's very time consuming and very
7:03
messy but very much worth the effort
7:06
you know I just put it in a dish and
7:09
oven proof dish y'all and bake it until
7:14
it you know it's thick it'll it'll get
7:16
thick now mama my mama used to take fat
7:22
back and fry it and then fry the corn
7:26
and a black skillet on top of the stove
7:28
and of course it's delicious that way
7:31
too but I think my favorite way is just
7:33
to bake it with the butter you know
7:36
nothing else that's all you need were
7:38
corn is butter the space that you live
7:43
in really affects the way you feel so my
