oh yeah my favorite holiday of the year
0:11
yes Thanksgiving Thanksgiving it's all
0:15
about the for F show fun food and follow
0:23
Brite
0:23
I love it you know I there's nobody that
0:27
lusts to give more than me I love giving
0:30
but our family has been so blessed that
0:34
I can't think of anything to give them
0:37
you know we're all guilty of going out
0:39
and getting whatever we want or need so
0:42
when it comes holiday time you know what
0:45
I don't need anything I don't want
0:47
anything so well I got good news for you
0:50
I'm not used to getting Thanksgiving
0:51
gifts so I know that's what I'm saying
0:55
I love it y'all cuz we're not we're not
0:58
beating down with tryin are you
1:00
combining Thanksgiving and Christmas
1:01
together
1:02
well no I'm comparing Thanksgiving
1:04
Christmas together that's why I love
1:06
Thanksgiving so because you don't have
1:09
the burden of trying to buy everybody
1:11
that perfect gift hmm and figure out
1:13
what they want I have found one thing
1:17
though that they don't return so good I
1:46
do have something that they don't return
1:48
my love or your money that's the one
1:56
thing I found that nobody ever really
1:59
did the store and return money to funny
2:02
I'll be the first to tell you that I am
2:05
so blessed and so fortunate I don't need
2:07
or want for anything feel the same way
2:10
son I don't want y'all spending your
2:12
hard-earned money on buddy there's this
2:14
pressure that comes with this time you
2:15
to make sure you have to go out and buy
2:17
stuff I think that I think that some of
2:20
the I think that some of the best things
2:22
that you can do is is just spend time
2:25
with with one of the older I get the
2:27
less I think about like gifts but if
2:30
you're gonna give people gifts you can
2:31
make things from scratch you do a lot of
2:33
crafts that's a really nice gift to give
2:35
something something really part listen
2:37
why don't we break it already that line
2:43
that you threw me about my love let let
2:48
me regroup myself and we'll be right
2:50
back we'll think of some stuff okay

4:48
y'all welcome back and I'm sitting here
4:51
enjoying my time with my youngest son
4:52
Bobby y'all he's so funny he is so so
4:56
funny so what are you thinking for
4:59
Thanksgiving you know what this is just
5:03
I love this time of year fall is just
5:07
the best because you get some of the
5:08
best fruits and vegetables at this time
5:10
of year it used to be that fall was
5:13
followed by winter I don't know if y'all
5:15
remember ever weeks I haven't think I'll
5:16
win or when I was in care but you know I
5:25
love this time of year because of the
5:28
great memories that I have growing up
5:31
Thanksgiving has just it's always been a
5:34
time where we've never had a really big
5:36
extended family and but the but
5:40
Thanksgiving was always the time when we
5:41
did gather together Statesboro Georgia
5:44
with our extended family aunts and
5:47
uncles and cousins from Florida and we
5:49
would get together and just the just the
5:52
best from scratch Thanksgiving dishes
5:55
and and it's just a great time of year
5:58
and now as an adult we always get
6:02
together and go to Mom's house people
6:03
ask me all the time about being polish
6:07
son and what it's like to be in our
6:09
family and I've always kiddingly said
6:11
that it's fat and which is it's kind of
6:14
a joke but kind of it's not you know
6:15
because we're when we do get together
6:17
it's always around food and some of the
6:20
things that I enjoy the most I don't
6:22
really eat that often but when I go to
6:24
my mom's house inevitably there will be
6:27
cakes and cookies and things that she's
6:30
made on the countertop and I'll always
6:32
myself snacking on those things so he
6:34
goes straight to the paint straight to
6:36
the pantry and I rare and it's not
6:39
because I'm passes up my homemade stuff
6:41
and goes and gets salting crack oh stop
6:44
I think that that goes back to how much
6:46
I love cornbread stuffing I'm a big
6:48
starch fan me too you're you people call
6:53
it people call it some people call it
6:55
dressing some people call it stuffing it
6:57
has different names but I've always
6:59
called it cornbread dress and I think
7:01
it's just my favorite thing at
7:04
Thanksgiving I think is that cornbread
7:05
dressing and giblet gravy and we always
7:08
do a ham and a turkey macaroni and
7:13
cheese and of course the the beans and
7:16
sweet potato souffle I feel potatoes
7:22
have every kind of potato born to man so
7:25
I love potatoes fortunate to get
7:28
together and to have so much to be
7:31
thankful for and so many family members
7:33
to be thankful for and and to just be so
7:37
blessed in every way so I'm looking
7:39
forward this year again to come into
7:41
your house and a lot of you know if you
7:45
keep up with the podcast or if you watch
7:46
my mom's show positively Pawa so proud
7:50
of that by the way I watched it last
7:53
night we did yeah I forgot it
7:56
sogno my wife Claudia who is just a
8:00
hilarious person she's really some of
8:04
the funniest people that I know don't
8:06
really realize that they're funny and
8:08
cloud is funny in that same way but we
8:11
we were at home last night she said
8:13
tonight is my show with your mom we got
8:15
to record it and so we did and when when
8:18
the time came for it to start she said
8:20
that I don't care that we're recording
8:21
let's watch it turn it on I was like
8:23
okay alright you want to watch yourself
8:25
on television so I turned it on and and
8:28
it started and within 30 seconds she was
8:31
going oh my god turn it off turn it off
8:33
turn it turn it
8:35
I look like an idiot I sound so stupid
8:38
turn the channel and I said welcome to
8:42
my world
8:43
because I
8:44
lots and lots of TV with you and with my
8:47
brother and with all your people yeah
8:49
and on my own over the years and I don't
8:51
I just don't watch the stuff that I do
8:53
because well the way I look at it is I'm
8:56
not the consumer of it I'm not the
8:58
person that I'm making that the TV shows
9:00
for whenever I'm able to do it so anyhow
9:02
cloud got a little taste of her own
9:04
medicine last night when she saw herself
9:05
and said is what I look like I sound
9:08
like I said it certainly is ladies just
9:10
like you sounds just like you but it was
9:14
a show the show at my mom was cooking my
9:18
mom show last night poets him my mother
9:20
show last night
9:21
positively Paula featured my wife
9:23
Claudia who without my mother knowing
9:26
was making lunch for my mom and it was a
9:30
vegan lunch and mom didn't know that
9:33
that was gonna happen and I think you
9:37
enjoyed it it was kind of hard to tell
9:38
the only thing I enjoyed it all Bobby
9:42
the only thing was that dessert that
9:44
brown not us done something it was like
9:47
Anna ball it was kind of dark date paste
9:50
mm-hmm
9:52
you didn't like it not really she's
9:54
probably not as sweet as you were
9:56
expecting well I fixed it
9:58
[Laughter]
10:04
cloud is a is a really good little cook
10:07
yes she and her own right she really
10:09
knows how to cook really well she's
10:12
really fast what she doesn't do well is
10:14
the dishes in fact in fact cloud will
10:19
will will walk by the sink while I'm
10:22
washing dishes and just start piling
10:24
stuff into it and laugh and smile at me
10:26
as she keeps on walking by so she loves
10:28
to cook but she doesn't like to clean up
10:30
after herself too much just can't do
10:33
that to Michael it makes him so mad to
10:35
throw dirty things as he's why well it
10:38
makes me mad too and cloud knows it so
10:39
what she just my favorite part about the
10:46
show last night was when mom I have a
10:47
neat little trick with with cutting
10:51
Tomatoes like cherry tomatoes and things
10:52
if you take two plastic tops like only
10:56
imagine lids from like a sour
10:58
container or something like that and put
11:00
one down face up with the or bottom side
11:04
up with the rim up and you fill it with
11:06
cherry tomatoes level them all out and
11:08
put another one on top and you got just
11:10
enough room between the lids to run a
11:12
knife and cut all of her tomatoes cut
11:15
them all at one time one swath and it's
11:18
a great time-saver and a super little
11:21
little tip and I showed my mom how to do
11:23
this I don't know a few years ago and
11:26
mom showed it to cloud last night on the
11:29
show and of course my wife looks at my
11:31
mom goes oh that's great Bobby never
11:34
does that at home just any opportunity
11:37
to throw me under the bus or don't
11:40
remember her saying that of course it's
11:43
the first thing she said so now back to
11:46
Thanksgiving well you probably don't
11:48
need to do that mean tomatoes at one
11:49
time at home uh you know what I do find
11:52
myself doing a lot of it what I don't
11:54
have you know what it is really for me
11:56
is I don't have those lids the lids that
11:58
are the lids that are really great to
12:00
use are if you've ever seen these
12:03
plastic containers that are like like
12:04
they're like right sized containers
12:06
taken they're heavy dude like what you
12:09
would find yes like what you'd find like
12:10
an egg drop soup something I can contain
12:12
those kind of lives and I just don't
12:14
have them later you're right so that's a
12:16
dig to find to to make them work to show
12:19
clown so Thanksgiving is coming and
12:21
we're gonna come to your house so I
12:23
can't wait to see what cloud is gonna
12:25
bring me either y'all probably probably
12:29
won't recognize it
12:31
no you will I don't you think we will I
12:34
probably gonna break up rob a bowl of
12:37
flax seeds and I don't recognize and
12:40
some Chia's we see a world we might
12:44
bring the garden salad in a big bowl of
12:48
fruit listen and you know what that
12:51
girl's gonna make Thanksgiving because
12:53
we don't have more fun with her it's
12:55
gonna be yes y'all have a wonderful
12:57
Thanksgiving and there's happy
12:59
