hey friends i just want to chat with
0:02
y'all a minute we've had
0:04
uh you know this is my newest cookbook
0:07
uh paula dean southern bacon
0:10
and uh a lot of y'all have been asking
0:13
one of my favorite recipes in here
0:15
some that i would recommend maybe over
0:18
another one
0:19
well i have to say
0:23
this book has more wonderful recipes
0:27
and i think it's got like 75 recipes
0:30
that have never been published anywhere
0:32
so
0:32
there's a good chance you will never
0:34
have seen them well
0:37
look at here
0:41
blueberry muffins i
0:44
laid a piece of chewing gum there eddie
0:47
that was on the table so
0:51
this blueberry muffin recipe
0:55
with almond strudel will knock your
0:58
socks off
0:59
it's just out of this world it's about
1:02
the only blueberry muffin i'll make
1:05
out of this world and they freeze
1:08
nicely too which i'm gonna be putting
1:11
some of those in the freezer
1:13
because i'm probably eating more of them
1:17
than i should
1:19
so uh
1:23
that's that's a recipe that i make a lot
1:26
because i keep i keep blueberries here
1:28
at the house
1:29
um a lot of there's a lot of like little
1:34
vanilla and lemon tea biscuits oh my
1:38
goodness
1:39
for just a little bite of something to
1:41
have with your coffee
1:43
or your cup of hot tea they'll just melt
1:46
in your mouth
1:47
and uh oh my gosh
1:50
i just made this recipe too the loaded
1:53
banana bread
1:55
and is it all gone eddie
1:59
i actually made two two loaves
2:03
and it's gone and i just made it
2:06
uh my aunt peggy said oh my goodness she
2:10
said please make me some more of that
2:11
banana nut bread
2:13
she said that is the best banana nut
2:15
bread that i have ever tasted yeah i
2:17
think we just posted it not too long ago
2:19
we did
2:20
yes oh good oh
2:23
all right let's see what else oh my
2:25
goodness
2:28
salted caramel sheet cake
2:31
now in candy uh
2:34
caramels and salt are real popular right
2:38
now
2:38
and i love them um um a milk chocolate
2:42
covered caramel
2:44
with the with this with a kosher salt on
2:47
top the grainy salt
2:49
so good so that's another great one all
2:52
right let's see i just made this one too
2:55
a few days ago
2:58
it's good oh my gosh what else have i
3:02
made lately
3:04
just lately um orange ginger carrot cake
3:08
i love that one pumpkin pie
3:12
oh these pumpkin whoopee pies
3:15
are real real good and this is kind of a
3:18
variation of uh my two brothers
3:22
chocolate gobs
3:24
that i started making when my boys were
3:27
little
3:27
snotty nose boys running around in the
3:30
yard and uh
3:32
riding their bicycles so this is just
3:35
uh made with pumpkin instead of a
3:38
chocolate
3:39
cake so those are good too
3:43
oh but listen here's one great time of
3:46
day look at that apple strudel bread
3:48
oh and a deep dish apple pie
3:53
in a rusty apple tart oh my gosh in the
3:56
pecan pie cake
3:59
this is wonderful all right but i want
4:01
to find
4:02
one recipe in here that i thought i was
4:06
oh look
4:07
and this is my best friend
4:10
and me susan greene
4:15
we love cooking and eating together
4:20
oh oh my gosh
4:24
like i said every one of them are
4:25
wonderful uh the peanut butter cupcakes
4:28
that's kind of close to my peanut butter
4:31
pie
4:32
eddie but uh i have to cook those
4:36
all right but oh and the strawberry
4:38
sheet cake
4:39
that was miss gloria's favorite
4:43
all right but there's one recipe that
4:46
key lime popcake
4:47
is out of this world too um
4:50
the orange almond sheet cake i love
4:53
anything with
4:54
almond y'all but that's not what i want
4:56
to show you
4:58
i want to show you
5:02
these are wonderful too i have to watch
5:05
myself the chocolate pecan pie bars
5:08
i have to watch myself uh
5:11
i adore buttermilk pies
5:15
uh if you like buttermilk pies
5:18
it's out of this world
5:22
all right let's see i'm gonna find
5:26
i'm gonna find that look at the little
5:28
individual peach pies
5:29
to me that is so genius you know to
5:33
and i want to thank i want to thank the
5:35
team that works
5:37
on uh my cookbooks with me y'all are
5:40
y'all are the best
5:44
i'm so proud that i get to work with
5:46
y'all and look at
5:48
mama's banana pudding oh my goodness and
5:52
my mama used to the banana pudding that
5:55
she would make for bubba and me
5:57
she she put a meringue on it
6:01
and when we come home from school it'd
6:03
be sitting on the kitchen counter it's
6:05
the first thing we'd run into and it was
6:08
mama would cook it so it was just still
6:10
warm for us
6:11
and bubba and i did love that warm
6:15
um banana pudding but i'm still looking
6:20
for
6:21
uh there's a lot of wonderful biscuit
6:23
recipes
6:24
crescent rolls uh these honey yeast
6:28
rolls look at those
6:30
look at those rolls
6:33
tell you i just want to lick the page
6:37
i shouldn't be looking at this when i'm
6:40
hungry
6:41
all right well this is this is just uh
6:45
the recipe that i'm looking for
6:49
oh scones gums i love scones
6:54
if the recipe is right but if the recipe
6:56
isn't right
6:59
scones are not so good but these are
7:01
delicious
7:03
all right the coconut skillet cake i
7:05
love that and the berry cobbler
7:08
um and these are delicious the cheesy
7:11
garlic skillet rolls
7:12
yum okay this is the one that i was
7:16
looking for
7:17
this recipe is so
7:21
stinking good y'all
7:24
uh so those are just a few
7:28
uh of the recipes that i really make on
7:32
a pretty
7:33
consistent um schedule
7:37
so they're they're all incredible every
7:40
one of them
7:41
and uh so i hope this helps out and
7:44
answers your question
7:45
question song look at this strawberry
7:48
cream cheese danish please
7:52
please oh please
7:58
oh my gosh you make that with puff
8:00
