- Hey everybody. Bobby Deen here with another
0:02
great, quick simple recipe for you straight out of one
0:07
of my mom's magazines that are very popular
0:10
and loaded with all kinds of great recipes.
0:13
Today we are gonna do a Baked Bacon Ranch Dip.
0:19
It looks very good, very hardy.
0:21
Tis the season for these types of dishes.
0:24
And I know y'all like 'em, and so do I.
0:25
So let's get started with this really quick, simple recipe.
0:30
We are going to combine
0:31
in a bowl with a mixer, just a few items
0:35
one eight ounce package of softened cream cheese,
0:39
and to that we will add one eight ounce container
0:44
of sour cream. Mm sour cream
0:48
and cream cheese go together like peanut butter and jelly.
0:54
And to that, we're gonna sprinkle in some magic.
0:57
And I say magic, because this helps all kinds of recipes
1:01
including pot roast in the crock pot, if you don't know.
1:06
But ranch, a packet of dry powdered ranch is wonderful
1:11
in all sorts of recipes.
1:14
So we're gonna add in our package of ranch
1:17
to our cream cheese and sour cream.
1:21
Set that aside and mix, mix, mix.
1:30
So we've got that mix together pretty well.
1:31
I'm just gonna go ahead and get
1:32
all that deliciousness off my feeders here.
1:39
Cause we're done with the mixer.
1:44
Now to that, we're just gonna fold these items in
1:49
but you see how that softened cream cheese, sour cream,
1:52
and ranch dip really came together?
1:56
I mean, honestly, you could just
2:02
give it a go right now if you wanted to, but I'm not.
2:08
So to that, we're gonna add some cheddar cheese,
2:21
and six pieces of crispy just rough cut bacon.
2:33
Now that's a winning combination of ingredients right there.
2:37
We'll just fold this together.
2:40
Let everything get to know each other.
2:42
Hey, bacon, there's cheese. Hey cheese, there's bacon.
2:46
Hey cheese and bacon, there's onions and there's sour cream.
2:50
Do you talk to your food while you're cooking?
2:57
So we're just gonna fold all this.
2:58
Mix it real well together.
3:03
You see how it's coming together there for me?
3:06
I just wanna make sure
3:08
that everything is sort of evenly distributed
3:13
through that sour cream, cream cheese mixture.
3:18
And that looks really, really good.
3:21
I've got a baking dish here
3:25
that we sprayed with a little bit of no-stick.
3:32
Just everything into the baking dish here
3:36
and I'll spread it out kind of evenly across the dish.
4:04
Don't wanna waste any of that.
4:06
So make sure that you use your spatula
4:09
and go all the way around that bowl.
4:13
Get every little bit of that delicious goodness.
4:23
So I don't mind using them to clean that spatch,
4:31
and I will wash them again.
4:34
All right, so we'll just spread our mixture down
4:38
into our greased casserole dish kind of get everything even,
4:50
Something like this just really hits the spot.
4:53
We're gonna bake this in a 350 degree preheated oven.
4:57
We'll bake it till it's hot and bubbly.
5:00
I'd say 30 minutes would do the trick
5:04
And then when we take it out of the oven,
5:05
whatever vessel you choose to get it
5:08
to your mouth is up to you.
5:10
You can use pita chips or you can use, you know, just a bag
5:14
of chips off the shelf,
5:16
or carrot sticks would be great.
5:20
Celery would be great,
5:25
but probably not as good as pita chips.
5:28
And into a 350 degree oven for about half an hour.
5:31
So let's take a little break and I'll see you in a bit.
5:34
Our Baked Bacon Ranch Dip has come out of the oven.
5:38
I've got some chips here.
5:40
Let's give it a taste.
5:46
I can tell just by the color of this thing
5:48
it's going to be good.
5:50
Baked Bacon Ranch Dip.
6:09
You gotta make this tonight.
6:17
It's oh, fresh outta the oven.
6:20
Creamy, the ranch, the packet of ranch.
6:23
You can taste the bacon is obviously doing its thing
6:27
the cheese, the sour cream.
6:29
Man, that's as good as you want it to be.
