Jamie Deen's How-To: Separating Eggs

hey y'all i'm jamie dean

and today we're going to separate egg

yolks from the egg whites a lot of

recipes call for this and there's a

super easy way to do it

you probably already know but it's my

job to show you so

check this out first tip is crack it on

a flat surface

gives you a better cleaner break i'm

going to do it over a large bowl

i'm just going to put it right in my

hand

it breaks right away

my mama does it cup

to cup to cup

but you keep your hands cleaner

but being a boy i'd rather just dump the

whole thing out

and work with my hands if you're not

going to use your whites right away you

can put them into an ice cube tray and

freeze them and you can use it later
