Hey y'all. Jamie Dean here and we're
0:08
making awesome margaritas today.
0:12
No, we're not. We're making holiday
0:14
sauce, which is a lot harder to make
0:15
than the perfect margarita. No sense to
0:17
be intimidated, though. This is a simple
0:18
recipe that we're going to do in the
0:20
blender. And once you see this, you can
0:22
start fixing it for your family and
0:23
people will talk about it for days and
0:25
days. Going to start with two large egg
0:28
yolks.
0:31
Going to go with about 3 teaspoon of
0:33
fresh lemon juice.
0:38
We're going to add to this a little
0:40
pinch of cayenne pepper.
0:44
I'm going to give this a quick pulse
0:46
just to incorporate it all together
0:53
and break up those egg yolks. Now, this
0:55
is the important part.
0:57
We're going to remove this center piece
0:59
on the top of our blender and we are
1:00
going to slowly add one stick of
1:04
clarified butter. We're going to add
1:06
this so so slowly to keep everything
1:09
from breaking down. It's important that
1:11
it's creamy and fluffy. And we're going
1:13
to season it with a little bit of salt
1:15
at the very end cuz salt will break this
1:16
down even further. Be very, very, very
1:19
careful.
1:41
I've got this fropped up really nice
1:42
job. We're going to add a little pinch
1:43
of salt. Know this egg yolks can use a
1:46
little bit of salt. A quick hit.
1:53
Careful not to break it down. This is a
1:55
gorgeous, quick, easy holiday sauce.
1:58
Today we're going to be putting it on
2:00
top of our Low Country Benedict.
2:02
Fried green tomato, fresh shrimp,
2:06
poached egg,
2:08
southern biscuit.
2:11
This is just like everything else,
2:12
y'all. If you get somebody to show you a
2:14
tip, teach you a trick, you can do it at
2:17
your house for your family and friends.
2:19
This is one of the easier dishes in the
2:21
world and everybody sure will be
2:22
impressed.
2:24
And I invite you to try this at your
2:27
house. And for more tips and recipes, go
