hey y'all Jamie Dean here and it was
0:09
bound to happen we're working with
0:11
butter we're making clarified butter
0:14
today I've got a pot that's going I'm
0:16
going to melt this
0:18
butter what we're going to do is we're
0:20
going to take out the milk solids and
0:22
the Whey Protein out of our butter what
0:25
we're doing this for today is for your
0:27
Lobster that you're going to do at the
0:28
house you drizzle it on your crab cakes
0:31
and for a special treat you can even put
0:32
it on top of your popcorn going to do
0:34
this at a slow simmer you don't want to
0:36
cook this too fast butter Burns so fast
0:39
now once this butter is melted down
0:40
we're going to pour it into our
0:42
measuring cup here you can see there's
0:43
three layers the top layer is the way
0:46
protein the bottom is the milk salads
0:50
the center
0:52
straight goodness pure butter y'all
0:55
we're going to remove the foam off the
0:58
top you can use the spoon
1:00
some people use paper towels it's just
1:02
easier with a
1:05
spoon now I've gotten all the foam off
1:08
the top so I'm going to get a second
1:10
measuring cup and you can Ladle this in
1:12
there if you want to I'm going to try to
1:13
pour it see our milk salads are still on
1:15
the
1:16
bottom very carefully we're going to
1:19
pour off this clarified butter see all
1:23
the solids are still on the bottom be
1:26
careful not to jostle it and you will be
1:28
able to pour off
1:31
every
1:32
bit of this
1:35
butter and there you have it perfectly
1:38
clarified butter so delicious and so
1:41
pure for more tips and recipes go to
