Cheesy Bacon and Sweet Potato Casserole - Paula Deen at the Southern Table

Just like a baked potato, but a casserole, the bacon, cheese and sweet potato casserole is a perfect week night meal. Ingredients 6 cups Mashed Sweet potatoes Vegetable Oil for Cooking 6 slices of bacon - chopped 1 yellow onion - sliced 1 TSP Thyme - Minced 1 TSP Rosemary - Minced 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream 1 cup Gruyere Cheese 1 Large egg 1/4 cup melted butter 1 1/2 TSP Kosher sale 1/4 TSP Black Pepper 1/2 cup cheese Preparation 1.
