so I'm gonna move down here and share
0:06
with you a recipe called a banana doodle
0:08
cookie so we're gonna start with oops
0:11
whoa we're gonna start with a broken
0:14
dish one cup of broken glass half a cup
0:19
of butter and a half a cup of solid
0:23
shortening and if you just start beating
0:25
up those with that mixer the softened
0:29
butter I like that perfect so while
0:32
you're creaming that let me go ahead and
0:34
add one and a half cups of sugar I kind
0:38
of have a feeling that maybe these are
0:41
gonna taste a little like that
0:43
snickerdoodle food do you like
0:45
sleeper dude like snicker do I like just
0:47
saying all right so I'm gonna measure
0:52
out our dry ingredients and I'm gonna
0:55
need two and three quarters of
0:58
all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons of cream
1:06
of tartar one teaspoon of baking soda
1:12
and a half a teaspoon of cinnamon
1:16
that's right now wait for you here we go
1:20
yeah I'm almost caught up with you half
1:23
a teaspoon of salt and I'm just gonna
1:25
kind of whisk batter up
1:28
turn that baby on high there you go
1:36
[Music]
1:37
and we'll add one egg at the time
1:42
second age
1:44
who taught you how to cook my
1:46
grandmother talked about cook I'm the
1:47
youngest she day of three girls I was a
1:50
little baby so she couldn't put me down
1:52
so she's trying to need though holding
1:54
me out of here and then we add our one
1:58
mashed banana cut that down just a
2:01

2:12
all right now I'm gonna dump the breasts
2:14
for that in pain right I'm gonna add a
2:17
teaspoon of vanilla okay maybe a little
2:22
bit more look a little more I wouldn't
2:24
do the same thing that is major if you
2:26
go wrong with vanilla
2:33
and we're gonna put about 3/4 of a cup
2:36
of walnuts all right
2:38
goodies many nuts as you like those in
2:41
or you can take the nuts out you don't
2:44
like them what we're gonna do now is
2:46
we're gonna roll these so come on over
2:49
there and it's lie where your hands yes
2:51
so they won't stick floured okay we got
2:55
all that butter in them all right into
2:59
our sugar cinnamon and then on to our
3:03
hearts my paper action and we're gonna
3:06
put about eight cookies on this cookie
3:09
sheet okay
3:10
[Music]
3:15
alright so I'm gonna run over and put
3:19
these in the oven you'll grab that other
3:21
pan back there we'll do be getting those
3:24
ready now these are going in the oven
3:25
y'all a 400 degree oven for about 10
3:29
minutes and they're gonna spread out and
3:31
get B mmm all right I got one eye on
3:34
this you check those cookies okay what
3:36

3:39

3:41

3:47

3:49
