Tips for Iced Coffee

Y'all know one of my favorite things to do on Moms New Network is to share with y'all some tips and tricks that I've learned in the kitchen through the years

This is more of kind of a neat idea. We live in Savannah, Georgia, where outside right now it's probably 100 degrees

And if you like to drink coffee during the day, iced coffee is a good thing to go to

I drink one hot cup of coffee a day. Sometimes in the long days, I do want to drink a coffee in the afternoon

It's just too daggum hot. So how about this? I'm going to take cold leftover coffee that we have, and I'm going to put it in an ice cube tray

This is just genius. So later in the afternoon, if you want some ice coffee, instead of putting water ice cubes in your coffee and having it watered down, look at this

Coffee cubes. Pop it into the freezer, and later in the day when it's hot like it is here in Savannah, you can just pop out a couple of these

and look at this. Coffee cubes. Pour my coffee right on top

I drink my coffee the same way I did the first time mama let me take a sip

and that's sweet and creamy. So I've got some heavy cream, a little bit of simple syrup

Energy in a cup, y'all. Now this is a great idea. Cheers
