To quench our thirst today. All right, now we go ahead and we can talk

Yes indeed Fran you are great You are great I telling you if you can have any fun in the kitchen what are you doing Out of all the arts honey out of all the arts I want to sing so bad and it revolting

when I try to sing. It is revolting. You know, the cure for any voice..

What? ...is about three shots of tequila. Everybody sounds good after... No, I've tried it

I've tried that, too. Everybody sounds good. Well, no, I'm talking about for the people listening

Oh, oh. After about three shots of tequila, everybody sounds like, I mean, wonderful, Sinatra and Dinah Shore and all the great singers

But it's kind of hard since I really don't drink. Oh. Oh

Well, for me, a day without wine is like a day without sunshine, so I can't say the same thing

You know, I have tried, but they say it's a taste that'll grow on you

But I can't stick with it long enough for it to grow on me. But you know what

This do grow on me. Yeah, it looks pretty good. It don't even need to grow on me

Yes, indeed. The singing grill sergeant. I am making for him to make that throat, you know, just silky smooth today

I am making you that strawberry basil lemonade. Oh, yes. Now, we have started with one cup of boiling water

three cups of sugar, a half a cup of basil, one pound of strawberry sliced

and we're going to let this steep, y'all, until it completely is cool

Okay. Because we want that to have time for all those flavors to marry and I got some right here Brad So we going to strain this into here

That looks like a yes, please, and can I have some more? I know it. It looks like it would be fabulous on Grandma Paul's

sour cream pound cake for me. Or some strawberry shortcakes for sure

So why don't you, you know, we can't guess. I want you to do that for me because we're using one of these cute little lemonade jugs

and it's got a spout, so we can't have a whole bunch of that

You don't want the pulp and everything in there. Right, because it won't come out of our little shooter hole

Right, that's not a good thing at all. Right. But we want to get all those flavors out of there

Now, I've got two cups of fresh-squeezed lemon juice. I thought you were going to say vodka, but go ahead. No

Fresh squeezed lemon juice. Lemon juice. And you know it's so important to me to use fresh squeezed lemon juice

So I'm going to add that to ice cold water. Now what we're going to do is add our simple syrup, Brad, to this and we're ready

Make sure everything gets all together. Make sure everything's married together. And while you're doing that, I'm going to slice it

Yeah, I call this marindipulated. That's my own word, merendipulating. Yeah, that means to put flavors together until it makes you want to slap somebody

To marry them, yes. Yeah, put them together. That's it. That's right

Oh, yeah, here we go. All righty. Right here. Let's see if this little thing will work

Go ahead. Oh And it not stopped up neither so we must have did that right No Ask that Basil if we got any left Oh yeah I about used it all but I think I got enough to make us pudding

That's enough. Yum. You eat and drink first with your eyes, Brad
