- Hey, everybody, it's Bobby here.
0:02
I just can't believe that it's already Valentine's Day 2024.
0:05
It's just clicking, clicking, clicking.
0:07
Today, I've got a really great recipe for you
0:10
that's super simple and it's gonna end up
0:14
being sort of just a snacky hand to mouth type thing,
0:20
which is one of my favorites
0:21
'cause it's got salty and sweet, which I love.
0:24
And this is a great creation for your Valentine.
0:28
So if you wanna steal somebody's heart,
0:30
I'm gonna show you exactly how to do it.
0:32
And we're gonna start with the salty stuff
0:35
and the savory, okay?
0:36
So we're gonna use some rice cereal
0:40
and we're also gonna use some Honey Graham cereal
0:47
And this will be super quick
0:48
and we're gonna take a short break real fast
0:51
because the next step involves the microwave.
0:54
Okay, so we're just gonna toss together our almonds
1:00
with our two cereals and that's it.
1:03
Now, we're gonna take some white chocolate.
1:06
Ooh la la, I do love it.
1:08
And we're gonna go to the microwave.
1:10
We're gonna microwave this on high in 30 second intervals
1:14
until it's completely fluid, okay,
1:17
and we're not gonna film that.
1:19
So 30 second intervals, give it a stir,
1:21
make sure it's good to go until it's completely creamy.
1:24
So we'll take a quick break
1:25
and see you back in just a minute.
1:27
Hey, everybody, all right so I've melted my white chocolate,
1:29
it's nice and creamy, we did it on 30 second intervals.
1:32
And I think it took like three, yeah, to get it done.
1:35
So now, what I'm gonna do is pour my melted white chocolate
1:40
into my cereal mixture.
1:44
I think you're already beginning to pick up
1:45
what I'm putting down, right?
1:48
And you can also see to my left here,
1:50
I've got a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
1:54
So we are going to get all of this married together
1:57
and I'm gonna stir it up real well
2:00
and then we're gonna pour it onto our baking sheet
2:02
and we're gonna cool it in the refrigerator
2:05
until it becomes nice and brittle.
2:10
Man, that white chocolate,
2:13
I could clean this bowl with my tongue.
2:17
I don't have a real sweet tooth,
2:20
but there's some things that I really like
2:23
and white chocolate's one of 'em.
2:25
And we're gonna get to another thing that I really like
2:27
in just a few minutes, so.
2:33
I don't want mama to come in here and start whipping my legs
2:36
so I'm gonna make sure
2:36
that I get all of this chocolate out of here.
2:40
"Waste not, won't not."
2:42
I can hear her saying it right now.
2:45
All kinds of other things too,
2:47
I can hear her saying all kinds of stuff.
2:51
Okay, good enough for now.
2:55
So I'm gonna mix this all together.
2:58
I'm gonna fold it all together
3:00
because these cereals are already brittle
3:05
and I don't want it to end up crumbs.
3:09
I wanna keep them intact.
3:11
Just coat 'em in that white chocolate.
3:14
This already looks good, but it's gonna get better.
3:19
Okay, so that's very well-coated.
3:23
Now, we're gonna spread it out onto our lined pan here.
3:34
And now, into the fridge for cooling.
3:38
So we'll take another break.
3:41
I'll see you back here in just a few minutes.
3:44
So our Valentine's Day mix has cooled in the refrigerator
3:47
and it looks great. I'm just gonna break it up with my hands
3:49
and then I'm gonna add in our three last ingredients,
3:55
which will be marshmallows, little chocolate candy gems
4:01
that do have a brand name I'm not gonna use,
4:03
but I could eat all of those easily,
4:05
and these are yogurt covered raisins,
4:09
all things that I do enjoy in moderation
4:13
from time to time, just like you.
4:15
All right, look at this, I said it's cooled.
4:19
Almost, yeah, look, well, not quite.
4:22
Didn't quite make it.
4:24
Yeah, there we go, look.
4:29
So I'm just gonna break it up with my hands.
4:35
Ooh, this is gonna be so good.
4:40
Gotta be careful with this.
4:42
How much of it could I eat, you ask.
4:50
How much could you eat, Teresa, Ed?
4:56
- [Eddie] I was gonna say the other day,
4:58
we made six raviolis so we wouldn't eat so much.
5:00
- [Assistant] I know and look.
5:06
- [Eddie] Who's making these?
5:10
- [Bobby] Who's coming up with these recipes?
5:12
- [Assistant] Teresa.
5:14
- [Bobby] Yeah, choosing the recipes.
5:19
So this is gonna be super great.
5:22
It's cold to the touch.
5:31
Easy as pie to make this.
5:35
Maybe put this into little baggies
5:38
and tie a bow on it and send them to your school
5:41
for your kids' teachers.
5:44
And you'll definitely get a,
5:47
you'll definitely have some fans.
5:50
Might see the grades improve a little bit.
5:56
"Oh, yeah, they did very, very well this year."
6:03
Okay, so we've got some nice chunks in there.
6:06
And to that, we'll add the yogurt covered raisins,
6:12
the little candy gems.
6:16
Now, if you don't like marshmallows
6:18
when you get to this point, you could just leave them out.
6:20
But I think that they'll really add.
6:37
Oh, boy, look at that.
6:40
What a wonderful, wonderful Valentine's Day mix.
6:47
And it was so easy to make.
6:48
I think that it'll be easy for you to make,
6:50
and I hope that you will.
6:51
So happy Valentine's Day, and until next time, see you then.
6:58
- [Assistant] Oh, yeah.
