And it sounds like some eggs

that I have colored at Easter time

to make 'em like variegated,

where you put some oil in the food coloring.

And you drop your egg in there.

And where the oil gets on it, it won't dye it.

So you wind up getting a variegated.

And that's what he's gonna be showing us today, y'all,

is this variegated pumpkin that he has made.

I was conditioning some of my old leather books

that's bound in leather.

When I opened up the book,

it had the marbleized paper from the old books.

And one of 'em was just orange and yellow and black.

And I thought, gosh, that just looks so Halloween looking.

And I remember when I was in college,

I did actually try marbleizing paper.

And it's a bit, I mean, it's kind of a messy technique.

- Yeah, as you can see, we're outside.

- But this is, it's actually called hydro dipping.

- [Paula] Now, you've done something to these, hadn't you?

- Well, those, I just put a primer on it.

Just to make 'em white.

- Now, what kind of primer?

- Just a spray primer.

- What you do is, I mean, we had several spray paints.

You're going to want to make sure all the paint

And it's really not that bad.

because you're not really going crazy with the spraying.
