How to Tell if Your Oven is Working Properly

Now, you know, it's the holiday season time and you're being forced to cook whether you want to

or not. The children are asking you to make cookies for their teacher and your husband has

asked for that cake. Well, before we get started on our baking, there's something very, very

important that I want to share with you, and that's whether your oven is working properly or not

And there's an easy, easy way to find that out. All you have to do is purchase an oven thermometer

put it in your oven, set your oven to 350. If this reads less than 350 or more than 350

I would suggest calling a repairman. But if you don't have time to wait for him

then you know you need to lower your setting by 50 degrees

Because this is saying your oven was 400, but you want to bake on 350

So you just set your oven to 300, and that will counteract what the oven is actually doing

But I highly recommend calling a repairman. you
