Y'all know I learn something new every day
0:08
And when I learn something new, I love passing it on to all of my friends out there
0:14
You know, just the other night, I was making chocolate chip cookies
0:18
and I had no brown sugar. So I had to call for Michael, say, Michael, please go get me some brown sugar
0:24
Well, guess what? In all of my research that I do, I found out that there is a wonderful substitute for brown sugar
0:32
All you have to do is take one cup of granulated sugar
0:39
put it in your food processor, take two tablespoons of molasses, and I'm going to spray my spoon so that it will come out nicely
0:53
All right there one tablespoon of dark molasses and you can see by spraying that spoon how it ran right out instead of sticking to it So one more tablespoon
1:09
And again, that little spray, no sticky fingers having to pull it all out
1:19
So in our food processor goes our one cup of white sugar
1:25
and two tablespoons of molasses. Just that simple
1:48
We've cut out a trip to the grocery store, and we have our brown sugar
1:53
Isn't that great? you
