How to Make Sassy Ice Cubes

Hey, y'all

When Bobby and I were little boys, my mom and daddy used to have a lot of people come over to the house, especially around the holidays

And I know that you've seen my mama give you the tip where she uses a bunt pan and makes ice cube ring out of it

You can float it in big punches. I don't do a lot of punches at my house

but I drink a lot of water. So one of the things that I figured out is I'll use sassy ice cubes

How about that? So I've got a silicone ice cube tray here

that I'm gonna fill up with water. And you can put anything you want in this

because it's all about how it looks, but make sure that you use things

that are gonna complement the taste of the water. I wouldn't put rosemary in this

but I am gonna put some fresh mint and strawberries and oranges and lemons

So fill it up with water. Leave a little bit of space at the top

so you can get your ingredients in here. So we'll have some strawberry. We'll do some that have lemons in them

We'll do a nice orange one. And this is my favorite. Some beautiful mint leaves down in the ice

It's great in your tea, or you can sassy up your sangria

How about some strawberries? We'll do red and green in this one

Pop it into your freezer, and when it's time for your party, pull them out

Now this is a cool tip. right into your water, and it will spruce up the plainest dish on your table

your ice water. And look how pretty it is. It's sassy ice, y'all
