Freezing Tomatoes

Y'all, I love my garden, but I have found that everything wants to come in at the same time

And I don't always have time to can these beautiful tomatoes or stew them down and freeze them

But I do love enjoying them during the wintertime. So many, many times, all I do is go to my garden

pick my tomatoes, wash them, drop them whole into a freezer bag

throw them in the freezer, and when I get ready to use them

in the middle of that cold, cold winter, all I have to do is take my tomatoes out

run these under hot water in the sink. The skin slips right off, and they go directly in my pot

pot for a wonderful fresh homemade tomato soup or that beautiful pot of marinara
