and I said, I am here to handpick some folks to come back to the house with me, play games, and cook

Good afternoon, Bobby. Hey! We're doing one of Paula's keepers. And, you know, chicken salad was one of the things

that we started out with 25 years ago. Bobby showed me the neatest trick

One day we were doing something, y'all, with little cherry tomatoes, and you know how long it takes to..

Forever to cut them. Yeah, to cut enough cherry tomatoes to have a salad to feed six or eight

Well, Bobby said, no, Mama, let me show you a little trick. This is a great tip

So we have set those on the inside of the top, and we're going to set that on the inside of the top

And Bobby taught me to just go just like this Mmm Look at that Y very well Look at that Now is that a neat trick or what

Mmm. All right, I'm going to squeeze in the juice of like a half a lemon

I've got grapes and I've got lemon juice. Bobby is picking this chicken for me

and I'm just going to give it a rough chop. I want to know that I'm biting into meat, honey

Why don't you chop me some purple onions, sonny boy? I'm going to dice this up a little celery

Purple onions are really, really strong, so how much of it? Well, I've got onion goggles in the drawer

There's your onion goggles. Thank you, Mama. Feel free to wear them. Thank you. We'll give you the glittery ones

All right, now I'm going to put a little curry powder in here. Let me see how much curry powder I'm going to put

Two teaspoons. Well, personally, I think that's a little strong. So I'm going to back it down to one teaspoon

It's super strong. It is. It's, you know, curry is kind of like oysters and things like that

Either you love it or you hate it. All right, so, Bobby, that's a plenty of onions, sonny boy

Or are we going to have more onion than we got chicken? A little salt and pepper

All right now I going to put in some salted roasted almonds And again you can put as much or as little as you want

And I'm going to do about a half a cup, Bobby. Okay. And if you would, taste that, son, and see how the seasoning is, the salt and pepper

And I'm going to give these a rough chop because I like big, big, big, let's see how I can say this now without fending anybody

You like big nuts. Come on. Yes. I like big chunks of nuts

Well, the seasoning's good. Oh, it is? It's got enough salt and pepper

The curry is super mild. There's not too much of it, which is nice. Well, should I add more curry

No, you should not. It's perfect. Now, I'm going to get a curry lover. Come taste this, baby

You like curry? Yeah. I want you to tell me, and you be honest now

if it's just right or it needs more. I know. That's why I chose you

Also because you're very pretty. Mmm. Good? Very good

You think it's just right? It's just right. Okay. Scram, kid! All right, so just a simple chicken salad sandwich

I just put a couple mayonnaise in that chicken salad and your mayonnaise in the bread. Well you know you got to have something to bind it to son Don be smart your mother in front of our friends I like to do lettuce wraps with all sorts of different salads Oh listen and we can do that but So get you a head of butter lettuce or Boston lettuce something like that Yes

Well, little ladies, they love it on lettuce. Do they? Is that what they like
