Buying Fresh Seafood

Selecting fresh seafood can sometimes be a pig in a poke

Always rely on your nose though first and foremost. It usually won't fail you

If it doesn't smell right, put it down and leave it for someone else

If you're buying a whole fresh fish, always look very closely at the eyeballs of the fish

If they're murky, pass it on by. If they're clear and moist looking, there's a very good chance that that fish is nice and fresh

But it's a smell test, y'all
