Like Shona, that's the Shona. All right, y'all, we are so excited to be back and cooking with y'all today
0:16
We're going to do our blue cheese chips. You can use this for a side dish
0:22
I like to serve it with sandwiches or hamburgers or anything like that
0:27
Or you can serve it at a party. Right, and that's a great appetizer
0:31
And it's so easy. It's lightning fast, and we like fast and easy
0:35
Let's go ahead and line this. I'll do that, sister. All right, I'm going to drain these, though, a little bit more. Okay
0:41
And all this is is just some tomatoes. You can use fresh tomatoes if you want to
0:45
and just make sure you get the juice out of them real good. We got this recipe when we went to eat it
0:51
this little place in Lake Blackshear, Georgia, and they served this, and we came home
0:56
and just kind of adapted to the way we liked it. You know, and so it's been a fantastic recipe for us
1:03
And just drain the- These are kettle chips. Yeah. And they do well in the oven
1:08
We're just gonna run them under the broiler for just a minute. So we're gonna add the chips
1:14
And then just chop you up some bacon. And of course you can get this recipe on the Paula Deen Network And all of our other recipes are there as well And by the way I to tell y who we are in case you don know I sure you do but in case you don I Suzette and this is my lovely sister Amy
1:30
And we're the sweet and savory sisters. And we've grown up with Paula all of our lives, literally
1:35
Jamie and I were actually a month apart. And our parents have been best friends all of our lives
1:42
And so we learn from the best how to cook good groceries. Absolutely. Absolutely
1:47
As you can tell, we love good groceries. Yeah. Good groceries are something that's got a lot of fat and a lot of calories in it
1:56
Not always. Yeah, but we, I mean. It's just good, good food, easy food
2:01
And we share with our family and friends. And people are saying we're going to the sister's house for some good groceries
2:08
And so we've always used that term. And we have a dictionary that we go by
2:12
We have to tell people, Art, because we use so much slang, you know, like show nuff and..
2:18
Shim-a-long-a-shing-shawn, you know what. And we're just taking a little bit too much time because this is supposed to be lightning fast
2:25
We like to talk too much. Yeah, it's in our genes. We've got a saying that we call the Cadillac of goodness
2:33
That means it's... All right, we have different ratings. There's the Mercedes Benz of goodness, and that is the best
2:40
Yeah don get no better than the Mercedes Don get any better than that Then we got the Cadillac and then we got the Lincoln Continental And that the show nuff And then we got like this like a chip we called a vehicle of goodness and that like a chip
2:55
You use anything, and we usually call like a chip or a tortilla, something like that
2:59
We call it a shovel because you can shovel all that stuff on it and eat it, and it's just good
3:06
All right, we're going to chop up those spring onions. I like to put just a little more blue cheese
3:11
But you can use whatever kind of cheese you want, but I do love blue cheese
3:15
I love blue cheese. And it just gives them a different flavor with the blue cheese to me
3:20
I'm going to come around with some spring onion. We'll use the tops, too
3:24
Green onion in the south, we call them spring onion. All right, we're just going to run this under the broiler for about two to three minutes
3:36
All right, Paula. Bring that precious angel in. Okay, Sullivan loves to eat
3:43
Come on, Sullivan. And he wants to give you a tater chip. How about it
3:47
Come eat a tater chip. How about it? Y'all, growing up, we were all so close
3:52
And when Jill was pregnant with Kari, we all went up to the mountain snow skiing and just had a ball
3:59
And Kari has always just been a huge part of our lives and we have spoiled her absolutely And she rotten and she getting it back Kari is his mother Yes My niece Uncle Bubba daughter Hey buddy He looks just like Kari when she was a baby
4:17
The skin. Oh, look. No. Look. You want one? No. Not from Guinea
4:24
No. Oh, okay. Let's change the chip. Guinea will give you one
4:28
It doesn't take a minute, because we lighten them fast. And we burn them up. No
4:32
No. No, it's just all. One or two. One or two of them
4:37
Oh, okay. See? It's lightning fast, guys. Look at there. Look at there
4:43
Ooh. Ooh, look. Now, this is getting my belly good. This is what you call
4:50
Uh-uh-uh. What was this for, girls? It's right there. That was the tomatoes we drained
4:57
Oh, oh. But you can use fresh tomatoes, but you make sure you drain them
5:02
because it'll make you hate a soggy chip. I hate a socket chip
5:05
Those are good. Those are real good. And they're lightning fast. Okay, here. So, let's get it on
