Let's mix these muffins up.
0:03
- I don't know about you but I always-
0:04
- You know what? Why don't you make these muffins?
0:09
- She gon put me in her work.
0:11
'Cause I gat something to do.
0:12
- All right. Tell me what to do while you eat.
0:14
- All you need to do Katie, is measure out two cups
0:17
of all purpose flour,
0:20
two tablespoons of baking powder
0:24
and one half a cup of sugar.
0:27
'Cause these muffins are gonna be so lit.
0:33
- So, now in this bowl we've got one beaten egg,
0:36
- Okay. And that goes right in there.
0:38
- You can just mix that together.
0:40
And we've got one stick of melted butter.
0:43
- Of course that's a Paladin recipe.
0:45
There's gotta be a stick of butter.
0:49
- And three fourths a cup of milk.
0:52
So, just beat that up.
0:59
- So, now all we're gonna do is stir in
1:01
our wet ingredients, dry.
1:03
Muffins are so easy to make.
1:06
The one thing that you wanna make sure of
1:09
when you're making muffins is that you don't overwork them.
1:12
It's all right to have lumps in them.
1:15
- You overwork your muffins
1:16
they don't have those nice holes in them.
1:20
- They'll just like dense.
1:20
- Yeah, they'll go real dense on you.
1:23
All right, now I'm gonna just throw in
1:26
about a cup and a half of blueberries
1:28
and look at these beautiful, fresh blueberries.
1:31
- [Katie] They're nice and sweet. Not too tart.
1:34
- I love blueberries.
1:37
So, there we go. Just fold those in.
1:39
Now, you can put these into a paper lined muffin tan
1:43
or you can just bake them straight on in.
1:46
I think I'll spray it just a wee little bit,
1:50
just to make sure that they pop right out of here.
1:54
- I see you have an ice cream scoop.
2:00
- Butter look so light.
2:01
- Doesn't it look yummy?
2:04
So, about two thirds of the white fold,
2:07
just like that might be a little over ambitious on that one,
2:17
Now, we're gonna bake these in a preheated 350 degree oven,
2:22
and we're gonna bake them Katie for 10 minutes
2:25
and then we're gonna pull them out
2:27
and we're gonna sprinkle them with sugar.
2:30
And you can use brown sugar, a light brown sugar
2:33
or you can use granulated sugar.
2:35
This is gonna make that crunchy kind of top
2:38
on these blueberry muffins, y'all,
2:40
and then we're gonna stick them back in the oven
2:43
and we're gonna bake them for 10, 12, 15 minutes,
2:46
just until they're done.
2:48
So, in the oven that goes.
2:54
- Let's have a blueberry muffin.
2:55
- Okay. I can't wait for you to try them.
3:00
- [Katie] They're so pretty.
3:02
- Oh, and I got some butter.
3:04
This is a blackberry butter. This is a honey butter.
3:09
You do yours just the way you want it.
3:11
If you want it split...
3:14
- Look at that. Look how perfect that is.
3:16
- [Paula] Look, beautiful.
3:19
- Look at how it melts, it's so hot.
3:30
Does this not cure what ails you?
3:38
