You can't. And this is my grandma's dough bowl. This is what she made her biscuits in
0:10
Wow. So I'm going to start with two cups of all-purpose flour
0:15
Okay. I'm just going to dump that. Yeah, tender that pot. Yeah
0:19
Don't let our bacon burn. No. I'm going to add a teaspoon of sugar
0:27
I don't like real sweet biscuits, so, you know, we want just a wee little bit
0:33
Yeah. And I'm going to add one tablespoon of baking powder, because we want to make nice, fat, fluffy biscuits
0:42
And I'm going to add about a teaspoon of salt. And I'm just going to mix that up together
0:51
So I've got eight tablespoons of butter. so I'm gonna just cut this using a pastry blender until it kind of looks like
1:01

just gonna use sweet milk you can use buttermilk or sweet milk either one so this flower is looking good It is All right now I going to do just like my little grandma did
1:23
I'm going to kind of make a well. Okay. And then I'm going to pour in just a little bit of milk at the time and work my dough up with my fingers
1:33
Okay. Just like this. All right, so I got our biscuit dough out
1:38
I'm just going to knead this a little bit, and then I'm going to pat it out and get them in the fire
1:44
Y'all, we're gone. I've gotten our biscuits rolled out or patted out, and I'm just going to cut out my biscuits and get those ready to go in our pan
1:54
I'm just going to butter the bottom of my skillet. Okay. And then I've got these ready to go in, Jim
2:02
Okay, good. And then you can go ahead and get this on the fire
